Ch. 263Things Have Changed
With humanity reduced to fewer than ten million, Master Roshi, Chi-Chi, and Videl trained young martial artists on an island while hoping Bulma and Gohan could find a way to fight the Androids. The trainees remained far too weak, and the chapter ended with Master Roshi remembering how much life had changed since the days at Kame House.
- A bearded officer reported that Master Roshi and the martial artists sent to find him had not returned, while scientists made little progress developing weapons against the Androids.
- On an island training camp, Videl and Chi-Chi instructed groups of young martial artists and admitted they were still too weak to defeat the Androids.
- Videl asked Chi-Chi where Gohan was, and Chi-Chi said he was training with Bulma and did not know when he would return.
- Master Roshi judged the trainees far weaker than Goku and Krillin, while Oolong lamented that Piccolo's death had made the Dragon Balls unavailable.
- Blonde Launch defended Bulma's weapons research and threatened Oolong, prompting Master Roshi to remember the people and days at Kame House.
