"See? We're law-abiding citizens."

Drake, who had only just gotten up, rubbed her groggy, hungover head. Her suspicious gaze swept over the trio's solemnly sincere faces before she gave a cold snort of warning.

"On my turf, you'd better not try anything funny."

Hearing the softening in Drake's tone, the three nodded repeatedly. Once they received her tacit permission, they swiftly slipped into the bar, rushed to the counter, snatched the odd jobs from Mata Hari's hands, and diligently got to work.
