Tsukikawa Isshiki did not answer Kitahara Kaede's question.
Instead, he stared ahead and said,
"We can get out soon. Call out the Ten-Tails. I need to speak with him for a moment."
"The Ten-Tails can come out?" Kitahara Kaede had not known about that.
So he directly contacted the Ten-Tails.
"Tsukikawa wants to see me? I can't go out. He probably just wants you to relay some words."
The Ten-Tails answered honestly.
Kitahara Kaede relayed his exact words to Tsukikawa Isshiki.
The latter silently glanced at Kitahara Kaede.
"Tell the Ten-Tails to prepare his true body to come get us. He'll need to block some of the aftershock from that big thing's self-destruction for us."
The Ten-Tails' answer was equally straightforward.
"Do you think I'd do something without any benefit? Especially something that would harm me?"
Kitahara Kaede passed the message along.
Tsukikawa Isshiki smiled meaningfully.
Then he said to Kitahara Kaede,
"The Ten-Tails was the one who told you to come in and find me, wasn't he?"
Kitahara Kaede saw through Tsukikawa Isshiki's slyness.
So he simply shook his head.
"It doesn't matter if you refuse to admit it." Tsukikawa Isshiki seemed to have anticipated Kitahara Kaede's reaction long ago.
"But if the Ten-Tails brought you into this pit and doesn't take you back out, then..."
It was obvious. Tsukikawa Isshiki wanted to use him to make the Ten-Tails act.
But Kitahara Kaede had no such intention.
This was Tsukikawa Isshiki's mess now.
So Kitahara Kaede considered how to dump this mess back onto Tsukikawa Isshiki.
"Ten-Tails, you heard him too. You were the one who wanted to come in. What if he refuses to give us any benefits now?"
Kitahara Kaede began discussing it with the Ten-Tails.
The Ten-Tails fell silent for a while before saying,
