Kitahara Kaede: "What happened to them?"
"Nothing." Ōtsutsuki Koto avoided the question.
Just as Kitahara Kaede was about to press further, there was a knock at the door.
Along with Ōtsutsuki Shiro's voice.
"Are you ready? We're leaving."
Kitahara Kaede and Ōtsutsuki Koto exchanged a glance.
The latter lowered her head.
Kitahara Kaede: "We're ready."
As he spoke, he headed toward the door.
Ōtsutsuki Koto followed behind him with her head lowered.
When they stepped outside, Ōtsutsuki Shiro looked the two of them over.
He deliberately glanced at their hands, then curled his lip.
"You don't have much with you either."
Then he led Kitahara Kaede toward the Stone Mountain Clan's mountain gate.
Ōtsutsuki Shiro did not stop until they reached the mountain gate.
Originally, Kitahara Kaede had thought there would be some kind of transportation.
But there was nothing of the sort in sight.
Ōtsutsuki Shiro: "You two, stand properly."
Kitahara Kaede looked utterly baffled.
But he still put on an act.
Ōtsutsuki Koto, meanwhile, obediently stood straight.
Then Ōtsutsuki Shiro tossed a coin into the air.
It fell straight down toward their feet.
Yet instead of striking the ground as expected, the coin passed straight through it.
A white opening appeared in the ground.
The three of them fell directly through it.
The sensation of weightlessness did not last long.
It was practically gone in an instant.
Yet in that brief moment,
they had gone from the Stone Mountain Clan to the Security Management Committee.
As for how Kitahara Kaede knew,
they were now standing at the entrance to the Security Management Committee.
After landing, Ōtsutsuki Shiro glanced at the two behind him.
"All right, come in with me. Your exile documents have already been issued. I'll send you out when the time comes."
He casually walked ahead.
