Ch. 761What Do You Call a Genius!

Plot and key events

  • Mo Xue rebuilds his God-Fiend Body and fights Su Changqing with the Darkness Great Halberd, pouring the power of the Three Thousand Great Daos into each strike.
  • Su Changqing overwhelms him, shattering the halberd with a single punch.
  • Though exhausted, Mo Xue refuses to beg for his life and meets death with pride. Instead, Su Changqing draws him into the Azure World.
  • Inside it, Mo Xue sees Su Changqing’s true form: a colossal Divine Body spanning light-years, surrounded by Five-Colored Divine Thunder and immense cosmic power.
  • Su Changqing welcomes him to the Changqing Realm and explains that he wants to build a power of his own. He clarifies that he did not bring Mo Xue in to recruit him, but to teach several exceptionally gifted figures.

Character developments and interactions

  • Mo Xue shows the same resolve that carried him from humble origins to the rank of a leading Eternal Taishan Kingdom prodigy. Even in defeat, he refuses to compromise his pride.
  • Su Changqing demonstrates overwhelming strength and reveals the scale of his ambitions. He treats Mo Xue not as a recruit, but as a potential teacher for his protégés.
  • Their encounter shifts from a fierce battle to an unexpected offer of purpose, leaving Mo Xue to consider his new role.

Significant themes

  • Pride and perseverance: Mo Xue’s refusal to surrender reflects the determination behind his rise.
  • Power and responsibility: Su Changqing seeks to build a lasting force, not merely collect strong followers.
  • Talent and potential: He believes figures such as Kunpeng, Kong Xuan, and others could reach extraordinary heights if they survive their destined trials.

Ch. 762The Singularity Where Void Currents and Death Lines Intertwined

Plot points and events

  • Mo Xue questions whether Su Changqing is reckless to let him teach cultivation to followers far weaker than himself. A Second-Revolution God-Fiend could secretly mislead First-Revolution or even unadvanced Dao Ancestors, whose cultivation breakthroughs carry deadly risks.
  • Su Changqing insists Mo Xue is bound by his word. Mo Xue may leave once his students reach the Second Revolution; if they die from a hidden trap, Su Changqing considers that their own fate.
  • Su Changqing’s followers accept the challenge. They know the gulf between them and Su Changqing is immense, but refuse to abandon the chance to catch up.
  • Su Changqing reflects that the Changqing Realm, now home to vast populations and approaching the size of a medium universe, may one day become a Chaos World if he survives and reaches the Six Revolutions.
  • The scene then shifts beyond the Chaos World’s boundary, into a lethal void filled with remnants of destroyed worlds. Holding the Changqing Realm, Su Changqing faces a singularity where void currents and death lines intersect.

Character developments and interactions

  • Su Changqing displays confidence and pragmatism: he values loyalty and opportunity, but expects his followers to accept the dangers of pursuing strength. His ambition extends to making the Changqing Realm a powerful world of its own.
  • Mo Xue remains wary and confrontational, pointing out the potentially fatal consequences of his instruction. His freedom is conditional on his students’ progress.
  • The followers, including Kunpeng, Kong Xuan, the Sword Ancestor, Thousand Jun Dao Ancestor, and Saint Spirit Dao Ancestor, move from concern to determination. Thousand Jun is confident in his near-breakthrough; Saint Spirit admits he must take risks rather than wait.
  • Su Changqing’s followers’ shared history—witnessing his rapid rise—deepens their resolve to keep pace with him.

Significant themes

  • The cost of advancement: Every realm brings extreme danger, and failure can mean permanent death.
  • Ambition and personal responsibility: Su Changqing will provide an opportunity, but each follower must face the risks themselves.
  • Loyalty and unequal power: His companions remain committed despite the enormous gap between their abilities.
  • World-building and destiny: Su Changqing’s growth is tied to the Changqing Realm’s potential evolution into a Chaos World.

Ch. 763Thousand Mountains and Rivers Sword!

Plot and events

  • Su Changqing enters Eternal Exile, a powerful card-bound realm that seals off heaven and earth, and sees a vision of a grand hall containing a white-robed swordsman and a young woman.
  • The vision follows the swordsman’s rise: he leaves his village with the Green-Ruler Sword, becomes the Pure Yang Sword Immortal, transcends the Dao, and founds the Ten Thousand Swords Sect. Later, as a Three-Turn Transcendent Dao Ancestor, he vows to enter the wider Chaos Worlds, claim the Thousand-River Order, and return to save his people.
  • He departs promising the woman he will come back. As he travels, he initially prospers but is eventually surpassed by increasingly powerful foes, including descendants of the Eternal True Lord.
  • After an immeasurably long struggle, aged and broken, he returns home. The woman has died, the sect lies in ruins, and the Sword Dao has been replaced by a bodily cultivation system that consumes others’ blood and vitality.

Character development and interactions

  • The swordsman transforms from a confident, extraordinary prodigy into a defeated, worn-out wanderer. His determination and ambition endure, but he fails to fulfill his promise.
  • The young woman admires and loves him, yet grieves over his departure. Because he leaves without looking back, he never sees her sorrow; by the time he returns, she is gone.
  • Su Changqing watches the vision with grave puzzlement, confronting the history revealed within Eternal Exile.

Significant themes

  • Ambition and its cost: The swordsman pursues greatness and salvation, but his long absence costs him his home and loved ones.
  • The passage of time and impermanence: Even extraordinary power cannot preserve a person, a sect, or a civilization indefinitely.
  • Decline and replacement: The Sword Dao’s disappearance and the rise of a predatory cultivation system suggest a world transformed beyond recognition.
  • Broken promises and regret: The swordsman’s confidence contrasts sharply with the tragic outcome of his promise to return.

Ch. 764The Origin of All Swords in the World

Key plot points and events

  • After the Ten Thousand Swords Sect’s disciples abandon swordsmanship, a young woman remains to preserve and reform its teachings. She dies before completing that work.
  • Driven mad by grief, the frail old swordsman uses two broken swords to slaughter his former disciples, friends, family, and everyone else in his Chaos World.
  • Sitting beside the woman’s grave, he witnesses the mountains, rivers, heavens, and stars combine into a colossal sword: the Thousand Mountains and Rivers Sword.
  • Su Changqing realizes that the Thousand River Mountains scattered across different worlds are fragments of this weapon. He identifies the old swordsman as the Eternal True Lord of Thousand River Mountain.
  • The sword’s Order is revealed to have three overwhelming traits: it cannot miss, can be infinitely large or small, and can cut through anything.
  • Su Changqing reflects that Orders are rules governing existence, and recognizes that his Life Script can bring people from the past or future into the present.

Character developments

  • The old swordsman’s grief turns him from a master into a destroyer; his devotion to the young woman and the sword’s lost tradition ends in horrific violence.
  • The young woman is portrayed as the last, determined guardian of swordsmanship, dying while trying to renew its methods.
  • Su Changqing shifts from astonishment at the sword’s scale to understanding its origin and recognizing the significance of his own abilities.

Significant themes

  • Grief and destruction: personal loss can consume a person and devastate an entire world.
  • Legacy and preservation: the young woman’s effort to keep swordsmanship alive contrasts with its collapse.
  • Hidden origins and revelation: seemingly separate mountain fragments are revealed as pieces of one immense weapon.
  • Rules governing reality: Orders function as fundamental principles, each shaping what is possible.

Character interactions

  • The young woman’s perseverance and death profoundly affect the old swordsman, whose response is to destroy the world they inhabited.
  • The old man’s actions implicate his former disciples, friends, and family, turning once-close relationships into victims of his grief.
  • Su Changqing observes the old man’s history and the sword’s revelation, connecting them to the Thousand River Mountain fragments and to his own Life Script.

Ch. 765Eternal True Lords Were So Hard to Kill

Summary

Key plot points

  • Su Changqing realizes his Life Script can bring beings from the past or future into the present—a power he had assumed all Eternal True Lords possessed.
  • The scene reveals the scale of that ability: he brought the Great Serpent Demon, several Dao Ancestors, and hundreds of millions of inhabitants from a Chaos World that had long since been destroyed.
  • Their world was sacrificed when the Thousand River Mountain sword was created. Because their deaths were tied to the Chaos Order, they cannot be revived through the River of Time.
  • The sword’s master, grieving his lost sect and loved one, sought help from powerful beings. The Card Eternal True Lord explained that the only apparent way to fulfill his wish was for the sword’s master himself to die.
  • Eternal True Lords are normally indestructible because they embody the Chaos Order, but Thousand River Mountain has extraordinary properties: it always hits, can be infinitely large or small, and cannot be blocked.

Character development and interactions

  • Su Changqing begins to understand that his power is an unprecedented violation of time and Order. He suspects it could attract the attention of multiple Eternal True Lords and resolves to keep it secret.
  • The sword’s master is portrayed as unable to accept the irreversible loss of his world and beloved. He turns to other great beings for a solution.
  • The Card Eternal True Lord approaches him as a researcher and explains the limits imposed by the Chaos Order, while pointing to the apparent contradiction that the sword might be capable of killing an Eternal True Lord.

Significant themes

  • The limits of resurrection: Some deaths cannot be undone when they are bound to the fundamental Order of reality.
  • Power and secrecy: Su Changqing’s ability is so extraordinary that revealing it could make him a target.
  • Paradox and fate: Bringing past or future versions of beings into the present defies the rules that normally govern time.
  • Loss and impossible hope: The sword’s master’s grief drives him to seek a remedy even when the laws of the universe seem to forbid one.

Ch. 766The Dark South Heaven Gate Reappears

Summary

Su Changqing learns that the Thousand River Mountain Sword’s master deliberately dismembered himself into 138 million pieces over countless Chaos Epochs. Since an Eternal True Lord is nearly impossible to kill, he used the sword’s sharpness and the recurring Grand Competition to wear down his own will.
Reflecting on his battles with the regenerating Two Revolutions God-Fiends, Su Changqing recognizes how difficult it is to destroy such beings completely. He suspects that defeating a God-Fiend is far easier than killing one.
The scene does not match the life script Su Changqing once read for a Thousand River Mountain fragment. That script said the Lord of Thousand Rivers split himself apart near destruction, leaving pieces that the Card Lord scattered across the Chaos Worlds; whenever the Lord threatened to awaken, the Card Lord staged a card game to stop him. Su Changqing concludes that the account he is witnessing is partly true and partly false: the “Eternal Exile” was real, but the Sword Lord’s apparent reasons and the Card Lord’s role were more complicated. He infers that the Sword Lord genuinely sought to revive his loved ones, but the Card Lord manipulated him into dismembering himself so his will could gradually be erased.

Character developments and interactions

  • Su Changqing moves from observing the Sword Lord’s fate to interpreting it, drawing on his own experience fighting powerful, self-regenerating enemies.
  • The Thousand River Mountain Sword’s master / Lord of Thousand Rivers is revealed as both devoted to restoring his loved ones and possibly deceived into a process that would destroy his will.
  • The Card Lord emerges as a powerful, calculating figure who used the Grand Competition to delay the Lord’s return and may have misled him.
  • The excerpt contains no direct conversation between these figures; their relationship is reconstructed through Su Changqing’s deductions.

Significant themes

  • Immortality and the difficulty of death: overwhelming power can make even self-destruction a prolonged process.
  • Truth, deception, and incomplete histories: a life script may be reliable yet still reveal only part of a larger story.
  • Love and sacrifice: the Sword Lord’s desire to bring back his loved ones may have made him vulnerable to manipulation.

Ch. 767Eternal Overlord

Key plot points and events

  • In a collapsing hall at the end of a timeline, Su Changqing spots the Eternal Exile card. Though he fears taking it would draw the Card Eternal True Lord’s attention, he decides the Thousand River Mountain Sword matters more.
  • Instead of keeping the card, he sends it through the Dark South Heaven Gate, a rare Chaos Exotic Treasure that can transport someone across any distance without regard to space.
  • Su Changqing recalls a Life Script he saw in the past: after a perilous journey, he was captured by the Death Eternal True Lord, forced into servitude, and made First Divine General of the Death Eternal Overlord. The Lord of Death eventually united the 300 billion Chaos Worlds.
  • Recognizing that the gate may lead directly to the Death Eternal True Lord, Su Changqing realizes that stepping through would put him in the Lord’s grasp. He judges this being stronger than both the Lord of Ice and the Card Lord.
  • His observations also suggest that, despite the immense reach of certain Eternal True Lords, none has ever killed another.

Character developments

  • Su Changqing acts cautiously and resourcefully, using the Dark South Heaven Gate to dispose of the dangerous card rather than claim it.
  • He reflects on his possible future as a powerful but enslaved figure—celebrated as the Changqing Great God-Fiend, yet secretly a captive.
  • His knowledge of powerful beings’ Life Scripts helps him recognize and avoid a looming threat.

Significant themes

  • Fate and foresight: Su Changqing’s remembered Life Script informs his choices, though it does not guarantee safety.
  • Power versus freedom: His foretold status as a renowned divine general contrasts sharply with his life as the Death Eternal True Lord’s captive.
  • Caution amid ambition: Valuable objects and immense power carry the risk of attracting dangerous attention.
  • Limits of supremacy: Even beings who span or control vast cosmic forces appear unable—or unwilling—to kill their peers.

Character interactions

  • Su Changqing has no direct encounter with the Death Eternal True Lord in the present events, but anticipates that the Dark South Heaven Gate may connect to him.
  • In the future described by the Life Script, the Death Eternal True Lord captures and torments Su Changqing, then commands him as a servant and general.

Ch. 768Death Is Coming!

Key plot points and events

  • The Card Eternal True Lord had once deceived the Thousand River Sword Lord into dismembering himself, but that had not fully killed him. Only Death’s ruthlessness had completely erased the Eternal True Lord of Creation, destroying the Pillar of Creation.
  • Su Changqing places the “Eternal Exile” card inside the Dark South Heaven Gate. The act triggers a sudden, unnatural silence across the Chaos World.
  • A terrifying presence turns its attention toward the world. Pangu recognizes it as the gaze of an Eternal True Lord—an attention so overwhelming it can destroy entire realms.
  • Death, an Eternal True Lord wielding the Chaos Order, begins crossing the Chaos Worlds toward them. His approach causes galaxies to crack and universes to tremble.

Character developments and interactions

  • Su Changqing’s move appears intended to provoke a confrontation between Death and Card. He hopes the conflict will give him a chance to obtain the Order using the largest fragment of the Thousand River Mountain Sword.
  • Pangu recognizes the danger from prior experience: an Eternal True Lord’s gaze once caused his body to decay, leaving him trapped in the Death Abyss until Su Changqing helped him survive.
  • In the Changqing Realm, Kunpeng, Lu Ya, Qianjun, Mo Xue, and the others react with terror. Across the Chaos World, Gods, Demons, and Dao Ancestors fall silent in fear.

Significant themes

  • The gulf of power: Eternal True Lords stand so far above other beings that even their attention can be catastrophic.
  • Fear and cosmic scale: Death’s arrival is presented as an approaching disaster spanning countless worlds.
  • Risk and ambition: Su Changqing’s attempt to exploit a clash between supreme beings may offer an opportunity, but it also invites overwhelming danger.

Ch. 769Three Eternal True Lords!

Su Changqing drew the Death Eternal True Lord and the Card Eternal True Lord to the ruins, where the Thousand River Mountain Sword awakened and responded to him. As the Card Eternal True Lord attacked, the Thousand River Sword Lord appeared and offered Su Changqing the sword.

  • The Death Eternal True Lord and the Card Eternal True Lord turned their attention to the ruins, leaving countless beings prostrate while Su Changqing remained standing.
  • Su Changqing realized his gamble had severed the fate in which he became the Death Eternal True Lord’s plaything.
  • The Thousand River Mountain Sword awakened, and the Card Eternal True Lord revealed that he had spent ages trying to make it submit.
  • The Card Eternal True Lord reached out to seize Su Changqing and the sword, but Su Changqing accused him of betraying the Thousand River Sword Lord and stepped toward the blade.
  • Su Changqing’s Thousand River Mountain fragment merged into the sword, summoning the Thousand River Sword Lord, who told him to take it.

Ch. 770The Origin of All Swords

Su Changqing claimed the Thousand River Mountain Sword and escaped the Card Eternal True Lord’s attack with Pangu. The sword’s remnant spirit warned him that it would buy him only three thousand years, and Su Changqing vowed to overturn the game.

  • The Thousand River Mountain Sword broke free of the Card Lord’s seal, entered Su Changqing, and acknowledged him as its master.
  • The Death Eternal True Lord recognized Su Changqing, sensed the Pillar of Creation on him, and closed the Dark South Heaven Gate.
  • The Card Eternal True Lord attacked Su Changqing with Card Order, but Pangu emerged from the Death Abyss and struck at the phantom cards with his axe.

  • Pangu cut down the charging beasts and one of their Fierce Beast Kings while Su Changqing warned that a greater threat was approaching.
  • A World-Devouring Beast emerged, swallowed the remaining beasts, and attacked, drawn to the Thousand River Mountain Sword.
  • Su Changqing struck the World-Devouring Beast with a sword technique and cleaved through half its skeletal body, astonishing the Card Lord.

Ch. 772Blood River of Ten Thousand Bones

Su Changqing survived the Blood River and won the third round against the Card Lord, revealing his breakthrough to Fourth Turn and learning the location of the Dark South Heaven Gate and Sword Heart. When the Card Lord tried to force him into becoming a Card Bearer, Su Changqing shattered all fifty-four cards and escaped with Pangu, leaving the Card Lord to promise another game at the Thousand River Mountain Grand Competition.

  • Su Changqing entered the Blood River, defeated its Bone Giant, destroyed its bones and remnant souls, and emerged alive to win the second round.
  • The Card Lord challenged Su Changqing to take his palm strike, and the impact helped Su Changqing break through to Fourth Turn and form a Sword Domain.

  • The Card Lord let Su Changqing leave and vowed to face him at the Thousand River Mountain Grand Competition.

Ch. 773The Seventh Divine General, Yinxu

Su Changqing and Pangu headed toward the origin of the Thousand River Mountain Grand Competition to find the Sword Heart, while the Card Lord spread word of their destination. As they entered the dangerous depths of chaos, Yinxu, a Divine General serving the Death True Lord, appeared to kill Su Changqing.

  • Su Changqing and Pangu escaped the Death Abyss after restoring two more fragments to the Thousand River Mountain Sword, bringing its total to four.
  • The Card Lord ordered his followers to announce that Su Changqing was seeking the Pillar of Creation, drawing the attention of the Death True Lord and others coveting the sword.
  • Su Changqing explained that the Sword Heart lay beneath the Chaos Wasteland at the center of the myriad worlds, where the Thousand River Mountain Grand Competition began.
  • Su Changqing and Pangu followed the sword's resonance through deadly void currents and discovered that the Card Lord had sealed the path to the Sword Heart.
  • Yinxu, the Seventh Divine General under the Death True Lord, emerged from the Death Abyss and declared that he had come to take Su Changqing's life.

Ch. 774Standing Beyond the Heavens, Defying All Suppression of Rank!

Su Changqing defeated Yinxu, but his fight revealed an aura the True Lords were watching for. As the powerful factions gathered to stop him from reaching the source of the Thousand River Mountain Grand Competition, Su Changqing broke Xuancang’s Ice World and continued to defy their demands.

  • Yinxu attacked Su Changqing with Divine Chains of Order and the Death Domain Eye, but Su Changqing’s Beyond the Heavens Card let him resist its deathly light.
  • Su Changqing shattered Yinxu’s eye and killed him with two sword strikes, while Pangu praised his swordsmanship.
  • Su Changqing said Yinxu had been sent by the Death True Lord to scout for the Dark South Heaven Gate’s aura, which his sword strike had exposed.
  • Gazes from the card order, the Death Abyss, the Tide Listening Pavilion, the Jade Palace, the Three-Eyed God Race, and the Eternal Taishan Kingdom descended upon them.
