Amid the successive beast-like roars, massive monsters gripped clubs tightly and charged madly at the figure surrounded in the center.
As time passed, the monster army encircling that figure had gradually grown to nearly a thousand.
Watching this scene, the group of first-class adventurers from the Loki Familia, renowned throughout the world, were all struck speechless.
An assault by over a thousand monsters.
That was a scene rarely seen even in the deep floors dozens of levels down in the Dungeon.
On the 10th Floor, while it was not impossible for monsters to swarm someone, their numbers would at most reach a dozen or twenty.
A swarm of over a thousand monsters?
That was no longer a level of difficulty that could appear on the Dungeon's 10th Floor.
The Dungeon's floors were divided by difficulty into the upper, middle, lower, and deep floors.
The upper floors were Floors 1 through 12.
The middle floors were Floors 13 through 24.
The lower floors were Floors 25 through 36.
The deep floors began from Floor 37 onward.
At present, the Dungeon had only been explored as far as Floor 58.
In other words, no adventurer or Familia had ever reached the areas below Floor 58.
All in all, the Dungeon's difficulty underwent a tremendous leap with every division between the upper, middle, lower, and deep floors.
If the upper floors were difficult enough for even Lv. 1 adventurers to explore alone, then in the middle floors, anyone intending to explore solo needed to be at least Lv. 2 to have even the slightest assurance of safety.
That was right.
Only the slightest assurance.
