When Noah arrived before the doors of Fairy Tail's guildhall and dismounted, Lisanna ignored the rain still pouring outside and rushed straight at him through the downpour.
Noah immediately stepped forward, opened his arms, and caught the charging Lisanna in his embrace.
Feeling the familiar scent of his fiancée in his arms, Noah could not help greedily taking a deep breath of Lisanna's fragrance before tapping her on the head and scolding her.
"I'm already back. Why did you run outside? Can't you see it's still raining?"
"You're one to talk, Big Brother Noah. It's raining this heavily, yet you didn't even take a carriage and came back through the rain. Aren't you afraid of catching a cold?" Lisanna lightly pinched the soft flesh at Noah's waist, but she did not leave his embrace. Instead, she buried her head in his chest and took a deep breath just like Noah had.
"It smells like Big Brother Noah..."
Hearing Lisanna's nearly inaudible mutter, Noah could only hold her with a wry smile.
In truth, Noah's surging emotions had not weakened in the slightest. Instead, they only grew stronger.
Clearly, Noah was in a very good mood. Even though torrential rain continued pouring from the sky, the cold rainwater could not extinguish the warmth in his heart.
"You two..." Mira stood inside the doorway with her hands on her hips and spoke somewhat angrily.
"Stop getting soaked outside. If you don't come in now, I'm going to get mad."
The other guild members also began heckling them.
"Get inside already!"
