The enormous beam scraped through the air and shot past the side of the Vimanas suspended in midair. The violent turbulence it stirred up blasted the brilliant golden ark away and made it shake violently.
"Ahhhhhhh—!"
On the deck of the Vimanas, the powerful mages all let out uncontrollable cries. Unable to keep their footing aboard the violently shaking vessel, they staggered about and fell into chaos.
Noah likewise could not steady himself amid the violent shaking. He could only grip the armrests of the throne tightly, doing his best to maintain his balance as he shouted to everyone on deck.
"Hold on tight!"
As soon as he spoke, the violently shaking Vimanas spewed two jets of light from its rear. They transformed into tangible thrust, and the vessel shot through the air like a meteor, tracing a perfect arc as it circled behind Nirvana.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Brain's laughter rang out.
"What's wrong, insects? Is running away all you can do?!"
The colossal creature, resembling a gigantic spider, suddenly raised one of its cumbersome giant legs.
"Whoosh—!"
The next moment, that cumbersome giant leg moved like an enormous whip, sweeping through the sky at astonishing speed as though it could shake heaven and earth, lashing toward the meteor-like Vimanas in midair.
Nirvana had been transformed from an entire city and carried that whole city upon itself. Its immense size was easy enough to imagine.
If Nirvana were compared to a moving mountain, then the Vimanas would be a bird living in a forest on that mountain.
With such a massive body, it should have been extremely cumbersome to move.
