In the alley, Lucy poked her head out and cautiously surveyed the surroundings. Only after confirming that there were no Kingdom Army soldiers nearby did she secretly breathe a sigh of relief and release the head she had been holding against her chest.
"Alright, we should be safe for the time being."
The moment he was released, Noah instinctively moved a good distance away from Lucy before taking a deep breath.
Just now, Noah had nearly been smothered to death.
