As Mira attended to him, Noah obediently let her dress him as though she were a newlywed wife. Remembering what Mira had just said, he lowered his head and looked at her as she adjusted his collar.

Hearing Mira speak as though she were being mysterious while deliberately keeping him in suspense, Noah could only shrug, though anticipation stirred in his heart.
