Wendy's words made Noah pause slightly before he smiled.

Wendy nodded heavily, her gaze never leaving Noah.
Clearly, Wendy was very concerned about Noah's unusual behavior.
Really, though, calling it unusual was a stretch. From beginning to end, Noah had not done anything different from usual, nor had he acted any differently.
