When that astonishing roar, powerful enough to resound through heaven and earth, surged across the skies above Tenrou Island and engulfed the entire island, the expressions of Fairy Tail's mages all changed.
It was as though something had struck their brains from within, or as though their eardrums had been assaulted by a terrifying shriek. In an instant, every Fairy Tail mage turned pale, clutched their ears, and cried out in pain.
Even Noah felt as though something heavy had slammed down on him from above. His shoulders sank, his dark, profound eyes trembled violently, and waves rose in his heart.
Unlike the other Fairy Tail mages,
Noah had not merely been struck by the roar's almost tangible sound waves. His extraordinary senses also clearly detected a horrifying aura and magic power.
It was an aura and magic power like that of an ancient beast, or a demon from hell—filled with a terrifying savagery and murderous presence far beyond human imagination.
