There were also scrolls emanating dense magical auras, jewels as large as crystal balls, and crystals embedded with tiny hexagonal crystal pillars, among countless other items. There was no such thing as the most extravagant—only ever more extravagant.
As for the center of the palace, where there were no cabinets, it was piled high with mountains of gold coins and gemstones.
The dazzling golden light filling the entire space was emitted by those mountains of gold and gems.
Besides that, a faint purple mist drifted through the air.
