Amid the tremors in space, a colossal beam of magical energy roughly two meters in diameter suddenly appeared on the boundless plain, tearing through space and scraping against the air as it shot straight toward the group of adventurers.
Before the adventurers could even react, the massive beam of magical energy came hurtling down, striking the ground not far in front of Igvalki, Pelotei, and Mokenak, who stood at the forefront.
The suddenly appearing beam of magical energy did not strike the ground directly.
Instead, like a laser, it swept horizontally across the ground before the group of adventurers.
"Bang bang bang bang bang—!"
Wherever the laser-like beam swept across the ground, the earth exploded, kicking up violent shockwaves and clouds of dust. Chunks of rock shot in every direction like bullets fired from a gun.
The sudden commotion made the horses carrying the adventurers let out terrified neighs. Without waiting for their riders' permission, they abruptly stopped and reared up, their powerful front legs kicking wildly through the air.
