In truth, Jald was not human, but a tiger.
In Little Garden, aside from humans, there were Asura Gods and Buddhas, spirits, demons, and even Star Spirits that represented the stars themselves. With such beings around, the existence of other races was hardly strange.
Just like the many worlds Noah had experienced before, Little Garden was home to countless different races.
As long as a being had been mentioned in myths or legends, it existed in Little Garden.
For example, beastmen.
For example, vampires.
For example, Mystic Beasts.
For example, demons and monsters.
And so on. Countless races could be found within Little Garden.
In Little Garden, there was something known as a Lingge.
A Lingge referred to an individual's achievements, as well as their rank in life.
By attaining a certain achievement, an otherwise ordinary individual could gain the Lingge symbolizing that achievement, thereby elevating their very level of life.
For example, if an animal such as a cat lived to an unimaginably old age, that alone could earn it a Lingge, elevate its life level, and turn it into something like a demon or monster.
The same applied to other wild beasts. Merely possessing an exceptionally long lifespan would be regarded as an achievement, and they might even be worshipped by people, gaining an extraordinary Lingge and undergoing explosive changes in their life level.
Mystic Beasts were beings elevated in precisely that manner.
Furthermore, depending on the level of one's Lingge, one could obtain all sorts of Gifts, which could even be inherited by descendants sharing the same bloodline.
