The Otherworld, the so-called realm of life and undeath, was an extraordinarily wondrous world.
Not only was the boundary between reality and illusion exceedingly vague, allowing people to accomplish many incredible things through thought alone, but it was also a world where the spirit surpassed the flesh. With but a single thought, anyone could teleport instantly.
However, so-called teleportation could only be carried out between different spaces.
The Otherworld was not a world with only one space. It was a wondrous world formed from the combination of many spaces.
To use an example, the Otherworld could be regarded as a large building, while each space within it was a room inside that building.
Although all the rooms were within the same building, they were separated by walls.
That was how the Otherworld existed.
A world composed of multiple isolated spaces.
This was the Otherworld.
Precisely because this world was composed of many spaces, those transcendent beings could reside there.
For example, merely manifesting would cause a Heretic God to bring about phenomena related to their own attributes.
If a fire god descended, everything around them would become incomparably scorching.
If a sea god descended, a massive tsunami on the level of a world-ending disaster would descend along with them.
As long as such beings beyond all normal standards chose to live in seclusion in the Otherworld, no matter how wildly the phenomena accompanying their attributes raged, they would only affect the space they occupied and would not affect the other spaces.
