There were two reasons I came out to ask for Moon Tickets like a vegetable vendor when there were still nearly ten days left before the end of the month.
First: reality seriously sucked.
Yes, it really sucked.
Even though Ru Qing now posted a separate chapter asking for votes near the end of almost every month, once the month ended and the beginning of the next month arrived, there was still a whole batch—yes, a whole batch—of readers saying they had forgotten to vote last month.
That truly made Ru Qing's heart ache beyond words.
It wasn't easy for you all to spend money reading books, and being able to get Moon Tickets meant you had paid to read the official version.
Ru Qing felt that was an honor, proof of your support.
It would be such a waste for that honor and proof to just rot away in your ticket folders.
So Ru Qing shamelessly came out to ask for votes this early, hoping to catch everyone's attention and have you vote for Ru Qing. Ru Qing would be incredibly, incredibly grateful.
Second: this month's category Moon Ticket Chart seriously sucked.
Yes, it still sucked.
Those of you who had been paying close attention probably knew that this month, every author in the Science Fiction category had been giving it their all, all charging for the rankings.
Ru Qing roughly calculated that this book currently had around 1,300 Moon Tickets.
With that number of votes at this point in the month, in the past, even if it couldn't make the top three in the category, getting into the top five—or even taking fourth place—would have been a sure thing.
