"Boom—!"
Just as Noah, Jiao Liu, Karyobinga, Sarah, Sandra, Izayoi, and the others were happily drinking together, a tremendous boom rang out, making the entire ground begin to tremble.
As the boom resounded, a massive column of water shot up from the center of the banquet venue. Only after reaching several hundred meters into the air did it crash back down in a spray of waves.
At the same time, screams rang out from the sky.
Those screams came from person after person.
As the water column shot skyward, a group of people were swept into the air along with it. Then, pulled by gravity, they fell one after another toward the ground amid cries of alarm.
Watching this, Noah was somewhat dumbfounded. Only then did he finally make out what was happening in the direction from which the water column had risen.
There was a lake there.
At the center of the lake floated a circular platform on the water.
White Yaksha, dressed in a kimono, stood atop that platform, happily waving the Japanese fan in her hand.
Whenever White Yaksha waved her fan, a water column burst up from the lake, blasting everyone else on the platform into the air and sending them screaming down around it.
Yet the surrounding spectators not only applauded and cheered, but charged eagerly toward the platform in the center of the lake one
