If Between Worlds were compared to a universe, then by the same logic, only one world capable of sustaining life had been born in this universe at the very beginning.
"That was not an extraordinary world. It possessed neither Counter Force like us nor the mysteries that little Noah encountered in world after world. It was merely an extremely ordinary world."
Gaia gazed at the lonely feather drifting through the hazy white mist. Her voice began to ring out as though it came from somewhere very far away.
"In that world, humanity possessed no special powers. They simply lived ordinary lives, repeating day after day, without any mysteries whatsoever."
"Yet that utterly ordinary world became the origin of all worlds within Between Worlds," Alaya said calmly.
"Because even without mysteries, people possessed exceptionally rich imaginations and constantly pursued mysteries in their fantasies."
"Parallel worlds, dimensional spaces, extraterrestrial domains, superpowers, alternate dimensions... Intelligent humans used their incredibly rich imaginations to pursue such mysteries, constructing the existence of those mysteries in their minds and fantasizing without restraint." Gaia smiled helplessly.
"As the will of a planet, I cannot understand why humans pursue such things. But those fantasies are precisely the foundation upon which beings like us are formed."
As Gaia and Alaya spoke, the hazy mist ahead changed once more.
