Scorching flames seemed capable of burning even space to ashes. Carrying astonishing heat, they formed enormous fireballs like miniature suns falling from the heavens, hurtling down from midair toward Noah.
The glow of the flames had already dyed Noah's deep black eyes crimson, making them resemble intoxicating gemstones.
Facing flames capable of instantly reducing the surrounding area to ashes, Noah's expression did not waver in the slightest. He merely took a deep breath of the scorching air as immense divine power surged from his body.
The next second, Noah ignored the enormous fireballs raining down from the sky. With a loud stomp, he shot toward Rubia like a bullet fired from a gun.
"Trying to take me down directly?" Rubia spoke calmly.
"Do you think it'll be that easy?"
As she spoke, Rubia raised one hand. As though forming some kind of hand seal, her fingers continuously traced through the air.
At once, the enormous fireballs descending from the sky halted, then abruptly changed direction. As if they had all grown eyes, they plummeted straight toward Noah as he rushed at Rubia.
In the blink of an eye, the first enormous fireball reached directly above Noah's head and crashed down without mercy.
"Watch out!" Ren and Restia cried out almost instinctively.
However, before Ren and Restia could speak, Noah suddenly shifted aside without any warning.
"Boom—!"
The scorching fireball slammed into the ground like a heavy meteorite and exploded.
A surging wave of fire turned into roiling explosive flames, bursting from the shattered ground along with astonishing shockwaves and blasting winds as it spread in every direction.
