Amid that piercing, unpleasant laughter, the toad woman entered through the crowd to a series of heavy thuds.
No, it was not quite right to say she parted the crowd.
More accurately, the crowd scattered on its own, fleeing in panic as though they had seen some ferocious beast. In the blink of an eye, everyone had slipped into the surrounding brothels and hidden themselves away.
Yet Freyja did not notice in the slightest how desperately everyone wanted to avoid her.
That was simply how poor the toad woman's eyesight was.

"Besides, I heard that good man set up a challenge arena and said he wanted to find a capable woman to satisfy him. Is there anyone here more capable than me?"
