The 50th floor of the Dungeon.
Like the 18th floor, it was one of the few safe floors in the Dungeon where monsters did not spawn, and also the last safe floor before the unexplored region.
Unfortunately, although both were safe floors, the 18th and 50th floors were fundamentally different.
There were two differences.
One was the environment.
If the 18th floor was like a beautiful paradise removed from the world, then the 50th floor was a lifeless wasteland.
The ground here was gray.
The trees here were gray.
The rock walls here were gray.
Even the rivers here were an unflattering bluish-green. If someone said the water was poisonous, no one would doubt it.
From the high ceiling, rock pillars resembling enormous stalactites shimmered with faint phosphorescence, providing the only light on this floor.
Compared to the 18th floor, which resembled an earthly paradise, the environment of the 50th floor could undoubtedly be called harsh. It gave people the sense that this was what the Dungeon's environment ought to be like.
The other difference was the atmosphere.
As the Dungeon's first safe floor, the 18th floor belonged to the middle levels. It welcomed plenty of adventurers on ordinary days, who used it as a temporary base, creating a lively atmosphere.
But the 50th floor was different.
As a conquest point at the very forefront even within the deep levels, there were very few people capable of reaching it.
Generally speaking, if it was not a large Familia party renowned throughout Orario, they could not reach this floor.
