Sitting on the ground and resting, Tiona and Tione watched the rubble barricade blocking the passage, chatting idly.
"Those monsters are really stubborn. Don't they know when to give up?"
"The monsters on the 51st Floor are much smarter than those on the upper floors, but monsters are still monsters. When it comes to intelligence, they can never compare to humans."
As Tiona and Tione chatted, Bert leaned against the wall with his eyes closed, resting.
Gareth and Riveria were chatting as well, but only to pass the time while recovering their stamina and Mind.
In truth, the first-class adventurers had not expended much stamina or Mind.
However, in order to face the floors below in peak condition, everyone seized the time to recover. Even if they had expended very little stamina and Mind, it would be utterly foolish to die in a monster's jaws at a critical moment just because they lacked that tiny bit.
