Outside the main gate, two armed guards stood ramrod straight like statues, faithfully holding their posts and presenting the facade of one of the Labyrinth City's two strongest factions almost flawlessly.
The mansion was quiet.
With the main members away on an expedition into the Dungeon, the headquarters naturally lacked its usual liveliness.
However, that liveliness soon returned.
A large group came marching down the street ahead, immediately drawing the attention of the two guards.
Seeing Finn and the other first-class adventurers leading the group of several dozen people, the guards cried out in delight.
"The captain's back!"
"Everyone's back!"
The guards' booming announcement immediately stirred the previously quiet Loki Familia headquarters into a clamor of voices.
The members left behind to guard the base began filing out of the mansion and gathering in the courtyard, throwing open the gates.
Under such circumstances, Finn led the Loki Familia expedition force into their own base, responding to the greetings of the members and guards as they went.
Amid the suddenly bustling atmosphere, a figure abruptly rushed out from inside the mansion.
"You're finally back—!"
With that jubilant cry, the Goddess dressed in simple men's clothing lunged forward.
