The Black Robed Figure stared fixedly at Saint Tenzi as she emerged from a room in the distant Seitenshi Residence, his voice carrying the manic frenzy unique to a lunatic as he muttered to himself.
"You're mine... you're mine... you'll be mine eventually..."
As he said this, the mouth beneath the Black Robed Figure's hood stretched into a chilling curve.
Then, the Black Robed Figure crouched.
"Bang—!"
In the next instant, accompanied by a muffled explosion, the Black Robed Figure shattered the ground beneath his feet and shot out like a cannonball, tearing through the air with a sharp whistle as he headed straight for the Seitenshi Residence.
That speed was truly faster than a bullet.
The Seitenshi Residence, originally some distance away from the building where the Black Robed Figure stood, had closed nearly half that distance in less than a second.
At that speed, the Black Robed Figure would surely smash through the residence's windows in the next second and attack his target.
Such physical strength was simply horrifying. Even Cursed Children might not be capable of it.
However, in the very next instant, the Black Robed Figure suddenly noticed something.
Atop a building even farther from the Seitenshi Residence, a flash of red light suddenly appeared.

The Black Robed Figure abruptly halted, completely ignoring inertia and gravity as he stopped in midair with startling abruptness.
Almost at the same time, a sniper round tore through the air, passing less than a centimeter in front of the Black
