Blazing flames erupted from the magic circle, sending waves of sparks dancing through the entire room and scattering in every direction.

With his hands in his pockets and the air of a delinquent noble, Raiser did not even spare the others a glance. He fixed a fierce gaze on Rias, a roguish grin spreading across his face and making her expression turn grim.

"Raiser, what are you doing here?"

"I don't particularly enjoy coming to the human world either. The air and wind in this world are far too filthy. It's quite unpleasant for a devil like me, one who commands fire and wind." Raiser spread his hands helplessly.

"Still, even I would get anxious upon hearing that my fiancée intended to break off our engagement. Rias, if you obediently listen now, I can go back immediately."

In other words, Raiser had come all this way specifically because he heard that Rias intended to break off the engagement?

He certainly cared a lot.

Unfortunately, he was directing that concern at the wrong person.

"Raiser, you're not worried about me, your fiancée. You're worried because the path for Phoenix and Gremory to form a good relationship is about to disappear, aren't you?" Rias looked coldly at Raiser.

"Since you already know that I intend to break off the engagement, coming before me will only strengthen that resolve."

At that, Raiser still wore the same smirking expression. Even his eyes held an unconcerned look, as though he utterly disdained Rias's thoughts.

"Tell me, Rias, surely you don't think the Gremory family's situation is actually as good as it looks on the surface?"

Rias said nothing, merely staring at Raiser until he curled his lips
