A fierce wind blew down from above, striking the battlefield where Rider and Lancer were locked in combat. It kicked up a cloud of dust and made Noah's coat flap loudly as he watched from afar, yet his gaze never left the battle ahead, not even for a moment.

There, Rider, wielding a chained short sword, faced off against Lancer, who held a crimson spear. One remained expressionless, her eyes hidden entirely behind her blindfold, while the other clicked his tongue in frustration.

"I've basically gone all out, yet I can only gain a slight upper hand against a Rider who doesn't specialize in close combat. Just what kind of Heroic Spirit are you?"

Hearing Lancer's words, Rider raised her chin slightly and finally spoke for the first time since appearing.

"That is only because I have an exceptionally capable Master."

The strength of a Servant summoned as a familiar generally depended on the Master's own magical power.

Though there were other factors involved, the Master's capabilities were not something that could be ignored.

As a Rider, Medusa naturally could not match Lancer, who had originated as an outstanding knight, in close combat.

Even so, Rider's Strength and Endurance parameters were both ranked B.

Furthermore, with the support of Noah's abnormally vast magical power, Rider did not need to worry about magical energy at all. She could freely use her skills and Treasure Tools, and with her Monstrous Strength skill, she naturally would not be much weaker than Lancer.

In other words, although Rider was destined to be unsuited for close combat due to her class, Noah gave her an enormous advantage in terms of parameters, allowing her to fight without holding back.
