Explosions rang out one after another like an unending chain of bursting fireworks, echoing through the skies above Ryudou Temple as flames and shockwaves swept in every direction.

Above the sprawling grounds and ancient temple buildings of Ryudou Temple, two spaces illuminated by dazzling golden light trembled continuously, sending out ripples of gold like waves upon water.

From within those ripples, weapons in every conceivable form—swords, blades, spears, halberds, and more—legendary armaments that had been passed down since the age of myth, shot forth like arrows loosed from bowstrings, like bullets fired from barrels, pouring out in a machine-gun barrage that tore through the air and plunged into the flames and shockwaves.

"Boom—boom—boom—boom—boom—!"

Whenever the overwhelming rain of Treasure Tools poured into the spreading sea of flames and shockwaves, explosions capable of shaking space erupted, once more whipping up violent flames and impacts that made the fire and airwaves filling the sky even denser.

However, that scene did not last long.

The next instant, enormous ripples unlike any before spread through the two golden spaces separated by the flames and shockwaves blanketing the sky.

As though they had thought of the same thing, two nearly identical giant swords, each taller than a person, sprang from those two almost identical enormous ripples. Carrying terrifying force and piercing roars, they became streaks of sword-light, one falling from the heavens and the other soaring upward.

"Whoosh—!"

The force and wind howling around the two giant swords, now transformed into streaks of light, blasted apart the flames hanging over Ryudou Temple as though punching a massive hole through them, scattering the fire before the swords collided
