Background / History

Erza was enslaved at the Tower of Paradise alongside Shou, Simon, Wally, Millianna, and Jellal. After Shou's escape plan was discovered, Erza was made the scapegoat and tortured, losing one eye. During the ensuing slave rebellion, she awakened her Magic and defeated the tower's magic soldiers. Jellal later framed her as having been consumed by Magic, destroyed the escape ships, and kept their former companions trapped at the tower. 586 589

After escaping, Erza joined Fairy Tail after Noah.
