Chapter Summaries

Abe no Seimei destroyed Kyoto’s shrines and temples to free his sealed Shikigami, drawing the attention of Special Grade sorcerers Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori. As Seimei continued onward, his Shikigami stayed behind to fight them.

• Abe no Seimei reached Saiganyoji Temple, destroyed it, and freed the giant Aragami Skeleton.
• Ryu Ishigori and Takako Uro confronted Seimei after Jujutsu Headquarters hired them to stop his attack on Kyoto.
• Takako Uro recognized Seimei as the strongest Shikigami user of his era, and Ryu Ishigori eagerly challenged him.
• Shōkera identified Takako Uro as the assassin who had sealed him, and Abe no Seimei ordered his Shikigami to deal with the two sorcerers.

Eiji’s research into the Imaginary World was interrupted when Artoria and Satoru Gojo summoned him to discuss Kyoto’s request for aid. He learned that Abe no Seimei had returned after a thousand years and gathered a large force, leaving Eiji baffled by the unexpected threat.

Eiji and Satoru Gojo began intensive training for Tokyo Jujutsu High’s Exchange Event participants, and Eiji used Megumi Fushiguro’s body to fight Mahoraga with the Ten Shadows Technique. The training ended with Eiji landing a Black Flash while Megumi watched and learned from the fight.

Toge Inumaki agreed to let Satoru Gojo control his body so he could learn the Reverse Cursed Technique. After Gojo used Cursed Speech to send Toji Fushiguro sprinting for a toilet, Inumaki feared Toji's revenge and considered hiding abroad.

• Toge Inumaki agreed to Satoru Gojo taking control of his body for Reverse Cursed Technique training, and Gojo took over while Megumi Fushiguro and Inumaki watched from within their own souls.
• Toge Satoru wandered through the forest, tested his precise control of Cursed Speech, and teased Toge Inumaki about speaking with Panda.

Satoru Gojo, controlling Toge Inumaki's body, fled from Mai Zenin and Toji Fushiguro until he used Cursed Speech to make Panda fight them. Watching Gojo test Cursed Speech and Reverse Cursed Technique gives Toge Inumaki a new idea for improving his own combat skills.

• Mai Zenin chased Toge Satoru through the woods, where Toji Fushiguro joined in and attacked him with the Chain of a Thousand Miles.
• Maki mistook Toge Satoru for someone who had bullied Mai and joined the pursuit, while Toji Fushiguro and Mai Zenin kept attacking him.
• Eiji emerged from the Infirmary and mistook the brawl for a conflict between the Zenin Family and the Gojo Family.

• Suguru Geto entered Kokichi Muta’s underground base and asked him to share everything he could without violating his Binding Vow.
• Kokichi Muta proposed a Binding Vow to protect himself, and Geto offered him a Tokyo position, help obtaining a normal body, and financial security for him and Kasumi Miwa.
• Geto asked Kokichi Muta to provide his mechanical puppet technology, especially the technology for storing Cursed Energy.
• Kokichi Muta objected when Geto brought up Kasumi Miwa, but Geto told him she was Sasaki Kojiro’s disciple and claimed she liked Mechamaru.
