Inside the palace on the Royal Plateau of Dressrosa, Doflamingo had just sensed that something was wrong when a sudden, searing pain exploded across his face. His head was immediately smashed into the palace floor. The next moment, however, he sprang back up, scanned his surroundings, and unleashed Conqueror's Haki. Unfortunately, he saw no one.

"Young Master." As Doflamingo's Conqueror's Haki spread out, the palace officers and guards immediately appeared before him, staring in confusion at the seemingly enraged Doflamingo.

"It's nothing." After scanning the palace with Observation Haki and finding no strangers, Doflamingo spoke with a gloomy expression. The guards then withdrew, leaving only the officers behind.

"Young Master, what happened?" One officer immediately asked. Although Doflamingo claimed it was nothing, his livid face and the crater in the floor clearly said otherwise.

"Pica, did you notice any strangers appearing?" Doflamingo trusted his officers deeply. To him, they were family.

"Young Master, I didn't find anyone." Pica's shrill voice rang out a moment later. He had not answered immediately because he had checked the palace once more.

"I see. It seems someone played a rather nasty joke on me. Bring Violet back."

After hearing that Pica had found no strangers either, an inexplicable smile suddenly appeared on Doflamingo's face. He then ordered someone to summon Violet back. He needed to confirm some intelligence. Although Violet was also an officer of the Donquixote Family, her status was clearly incomparable to those present.
