"That's because the notices on the second floor are jobs far more difficult than anything on the first floor—S-Class Missions. They're dangerous jobs where even a momentary lapse in judgment can cost you your life. Of course, the rewards are extremely high as well. Only wizards granted authorization by the guild master can take S-Class jobs. At present, only five people have that qualification, including Erza, Laxus, and Mystogan."
Mirajane immediately explained the situation on the second floor to Lucy, as well as Fairy Tail's S-Class wizard system. Every major guild had a similar system, used for wizards who handled extremely dangerous jobs. However, since it was not officially certified, this rank was meaningless outside the guild.
"I see." Having received Mirajane's warning, Lucy immediately waved her hands, saying she would never take an S-Class Mission. She knew her own strength well enough. Unfortunately, she did not know that being with Natsu meant dangerous jobs would never be in short supply.
