"Run! We're all going back together, back to Fairy Tail!" Erza finally reacted, pointing in the other direction and shouting for everyone to flee.

At Gildarts's and Erza's shouts, the Fairy Tail members immediately got to their feet and fled in the opposite direction from Black Dragon. But Black Dragon took flight again, his beating wings sending fierce winds sweeping over them. They could no longer afford to worry about the wind and simply kept running.

Natsu grabbed Happy, while Gajeel and Wendy caught Lily and Charles respectively. The cats were so small that the gale had instantly blown them off their feet. Shen Fei appeared behind Wendy, shielding her from the wind at her back. He did not stop Black Dragon. He wanted Natsu and the others to see Black Dragon's strength for themselves. Not every enemy could be beaten back with bonds and shouting.

"Wendy, can't you communicate with dragons? Hurry and think of something!" Charles shouted from Wendy's arms.

"It's not that I have some ability to communicate with dragons. Dragons are highly intelligent," Wendy said as she ran. Dragons were not beasts, but highly intelligent life-forms. Put simply, they were somewhat like the Dinos of the seventh Lostbelt in the Moon World, possessing greater intelligence than humans.

Of course, if one compared the Dragon Race here with the Dinos in the Lostbelt, the Dinos were undoubtedly more intelligent, while the Dragon Race here was stronger. That referred to averages, of course. Certain exceptional individuals fell outside the scope of that comparison.

But although dragons were more intelligent than humans, their racial differences meant they had never developed social communities like those of humanity. That was probably why the dragons had ultimately lost.

"He's blocking our way!"

The fleeing Fairy Tail members soon stopped in their tracks.
