Watching Toudou Touka and Stella battle on the training grounds, Shen Fei nodded thoughtfully. Though Toudou Touka had improved considerably under his guidance, she still lagged somewhat behind Stella's progress. After all, Stella possessed the power of a Dragon. For now, Toudou Touka could still rely on lightning's speed to win once or twice against Stella, but the further things went, the weaker Toudou Touka's advantage would become. At least, that would remain the case until she broke through to become a Desperado.
After arriving at the joint training grounds of Kyomon Academy and Po Jun Academy, Toudou Touka and Stella held a match. Toudou Touka won this one, but it had not been easy. She probably would not win so easily in the next bout. As the saying went, overwhelming strength could overcome any technique. Stella, with her Dragon's power, was now moving in that direction. The only thing Toudou Touka had over her was speed.
Toudou Touka was neither a contestant nor a coach, but she had come to serve as a sparring partner. She was not the only one; the student council members were all present, and Ikki's younger sister, Shizuku Kurogane, had come as well.

The joint training camp between the two academies lasted only ten days. The schedule was packed: coaching sessions in the mornings, followed by random sparring matches in the afternoons. Besides those training assignments, Kurogane Ikki had his own routine: a twenty-kilometer run every morning. It was a habit he had developed in childhood and maintained ever since. But now, he was no longer running alone. Stella accompanied him.
