"Bring her back," the Doctor suddenly said. Though she did not look at Shen Fei, he knew the words were directed at him. Under the current circumstances, only he could bring Kristen back.
"She is a seeker of the path." Shen Fei did not act immediately, instead speaking slowly. No matter how much trouble Kristen's actions might bring to Terra, one thing was certain: she was a seeker of the path. Shen Fei naturally respected people like her.
Many national leaders knew what the Star Pod was for. They also understood that it protected Terra, so their plan had been to wait until Terra was prepared before opening it. But the question was, when could Terra truly be considered prepared? Kristen's actions had undoubtedly forced every nation to devote part of its future attention to the sky. Whether that was good or bad, no one could judge yet.
But no matter what, history would remember Kristen.
"I know. That is why this should not be her ending," the Doctor said slowly. To hear the Way in the morning and die content in the evening was the finest outcome for a seeker of the path. But if there was a chance to keep such a person alive and let her continue pursuing her path, that would naturally be even better.
Without Shen Fei, the Doctor's side could only sigh helplessly. But now that Shen Fei was here, bringing Kristen back would not be difficult. Saria had been set up; otherwise, with her strength, she could have brought Kristen back herself. Still, that showed just how formidable Kristen was. Although she had relied on technology, being able to scheme against Saria meant Kristen could probably defeat several Jestons at minimum.
