"Hilichurls really were everywhere."

As Shen Fei, Lumine, and Paimon headed toward the enormous structure in the distance, they unexpectedly came across quite a few Hilichurls along the way. Lumine ignored them and simply avoided them, though only the Hilichurls received that treatment. Any elemental Slimes they encountered were dealt with.

"What a huge gate." Before long, the three arrived before the massive structure. Only upon drawing close did they realize it was a gate. Passing through it meant truly entering Enkanomiya. Naturally, that meant solving another puzzle. This gate was not normally sealed; it could only be opened after the key sigils had been activated.

"Key Sigils again. What a pain." Seeing that they had to solve another puzzle, Paimon sighed helplessly. Of all the places they had traveled, this place had the most puzzle mechanisms.

"We'll just have to do it." Lumine remained very calm. She immediately took Paimon with her to activate the key sigils. Shen Fei did not accompany them. There was no need. With Lumine's current strength, along with her equipment and magical artifacts, no monster in Enkanomiya could threaten her.

"Was this spatial power Istaroth's work, or did Asmodeus have a hand in it as well?"

After Lumine left, Shen Fei carefully examined Enkanomiya's gate. Spatial power had been used on it. From either side of the gate, there was nothing behind it, yet when viewed through the gate itself, there was a passage leading deeper inside, along with magnificent structures.

The barrier on the gate could block Lumine's perception, but not Shen Fei's. If he wanted, he could enter without activating the key sigils. But this was Lumine's task, so there was no need for him to intervene. His main interest in Enkanomiya lay in the remnants of this ancient civilization.
