Tony Stark (Part 1)

"So everything in this world really does point toward the Infinity Stones." Gazing at the red Pym Particles in his hand, Shen Fei couldn't help but fall into thought.

While observing Dr. Hank Pym manufacturing Pym Particles, Shen Fei also learned their origin—Hank had discovered them while researching the Space Stone.

Just as Howard had discovered a new isotope by studying the Space Stone, except at that time, limited by technological level, Howard couldn't produce that isotope. It wasn't until Tony became Iron Man that it was finally created.

Only then did Shen Fei realize it wasn't that Dr. Hank Pym was so extraordinary as to invent Pym Particles out of thin air. The ability of Pym Particles to arbitrarily change size was precisely a manifestation of spatial power.

Thinking of the abilities the Wasp gained in the Quantum Realm, Shen Fei couldn't help recalling Thor's ex-girlfriend. The Reality Stone was parasitic inside her body, yet she gained no power at all. If she had drawn strength from the Reality Stone, they probably wouldn't have broken up.

For an ordinary person like Jane to be with Thor was extremely difficult. The gap between them was too vast. Other conditions could be managed, but the key issue was lifespan. As a member of the divine race, Thor's lifespan was at least hundreds of thousands of years. As for Jane, even if human technology kept advancing and Thor constantly gave her life-extending items, she wouldn't exceed a thousand years.

As a mage from Kamar-Taj, Shen Fei could be considered an authority on lifespan. Two key factors affected a person's lifespan: body and soul. They complemented each other, but the most important was the soul.

For example, someone with a damaged body could still live on, at worst becoming disabled. But someone with a damaged soul would at minimum become a vegetable.

Having a longer lifespan than ordinary people was one of the essential abilities of Kamar-Taj mages. The stronger the soul's power, the longer one lived.

Human lifespans were so short not because the soul's lifespan was short, but because the body decayed over time. If the body could be restored to youth, the lifespan naturally wouldn't be short.

"If I can anchor in the Quantum Realm, I wonder if I can anchor in Dimension Space." The Quantum Realm allowed time travel; Dimension Space allowed space travel.

If one could anchor in Dimension Space, it meant being able to freely travel to other worlds.

The world we live in is just one among infinite universes—this was the first lesson at Kamar-Taj. If one couldn't grasp this, they could never learn Kamar-Taj's magic.

Since it was one among infinite universes, it was impossible for other mages not to be interested in other worlds. But the vast number of dimension spaces made traveling to other worlds extremely difficult.

Dimension monsters were one factor, but not the main reason. The real reason was that there were too many dimension spaces. These dimensions contained no monsters—in fact, they contained nothing at all. The only problem was that there were so many dimension spaces, enough to make you lost in infinite dimensional space, just like the Wasp was lost in the Quantum Realm.

Back at Kamar-Taj, Shen Fei had once asked Wong about this. Wong's reply was that without absolute certainty, one should never recklessly enter Dimension Space, because that was simply suicide.

As far as he knew, the only one at Kamar-Taj who could freely enter and exit Dimension Space was the Ancient One. No one else could do it, including Kaecilius at present.

Kaecilius hadn't actually discovered the Ancient One absorbing dark power at first. He began by being very dissatisfied with the Ancient One's secrecy. Looking at all the mages at Kamar-Taj, only the Ancient One could freely enter Dimension Space. No matter how long others trained, they still couldn't.

Under these circumstances, it was natural to suspect the master was holding back. Otherwise, why couldn't so many people do it? Later, when Kaecilius told Strange that the Ancient One wouldn't teach him true magic, it was because of this. At that time, he believed the Ancient One could freely enter Dimension Space due to a unique spell.

The reason Kaecilius wanted to learn magic that could enter Dimension Space was to find a way to resurrect his wife. This world had no means of resurrection, but that didn't mean other worlds didn't.

At this point, Kaecilius hadn't yet indulged in Dormammu's power. It wasn't until later, as he continuously researched various time-related spells, that his goal shifted from resurrecting his wife to having Earth consumed by Dormammu.

What was humanity's greatest enemy? Time, of course. Whether kings and generals, gods or demons, none could defeat the word "time."

Look at Odin of Asgard. He shook the Nine Realms and intimidated the universe, yet in the end, he fell to time, plunging Asgard into the Twilight of the Gods.

Dormammu was a dimension monster beyond time. Kaecilius believed that if Earth were absorbed by him, humanity would no longer be troubled by time and would enter eternity.

One had to admit the ideal was good, but the method was wrong.

For Shen Fei, going to other worlds was equally tempting, especially since he could actually do it. As the saying goes, "The world is so big, I want to see it."

When one couldn't do it, this saying was just an ideal. Like Shen Fei before his transmigration, he had also wanted to travel the world and see its scenery, but reality severely limited him—or more precisely, his wallet limited him.

If you added the mutual infighting among pharmaceutical companies, establishing a company would be even more distant and unattainable.
