"Where is this place?"
Under Shen Fei's protection, the group landed safely and began looking around. Paimon seemed especially frightened and flew behind Lumine.
"It seems our battle just now activated the elemental power and caused the ground to collapse." Yelan remained very calm, constantly observing their surroundings as she spoke.
"This isn't my fault! You were the one talking so rudely. Anyone would've gotten mad after hearing that." Arataki Itto immediately retorted.
"My job is to prevent outsiders from barging into restricted areas. If speaking the truth counts as being rude, then your mind is rather fragile." Yelan spoke with a calm expression.
"You— A man lives for his pride. I just don't like backing down!" Arataki Itto shouted. Yelan gave him a cold look, then ignored him and walked over to inspect the mountain wall. By now, she roughly understood his temperament. He liked opposing people for the sake of it. The best way to deal with someone like that was simply to ignore him.
"Hey!" Seeing Yelan just walk away, Arataki Itto immediately tried to stop her, but Kuki Shinobu grabbed him the next moment.
"Boss, you can't argue her down anyway. Why do you insist on fighting with her?"
"A-Shin, you're taking her side." Kuki Shinobu's words made Arataki Itto somewhat displeased.
"I'm just telling the truth. Boss, I understand how you feel, but picking fights with people all the time only causes trouble for me." Kuki Shinobu's expression was extremely serious.
"Well..." Seeing Kuki Shinobu's serious expression, Arataki Itto immediately stopped arguing. What the Arataki Gang feared most was a serious Kuki Shinobu.
"I've noticed something. Itto can't out-argue Yelan, and he can't out-talk A-Shin either. He's at a huge disadvantage here," Paimon suddenly said.
