When Shen Fei and the others arrived at the abandoned hospital called Vitality House on the outskirts of Aru Village, the people there were packing up supplies and organizing documents. Once they confirmed that Cyno's destination was Aru Village, they had to immediately take the mad scholars from Vitality House and leave, lest Cyno discover the problem here.
"You're not going anywhere."
When she saw those people treating the mad scholars so roughly, Paimon could not help shouting. Lumine immediately acted, binding them with vines before giving them a jolt of electricity.
"Who are you people? Do you know where we're from?" Among those who had fallen, a man dressed like an Akademiya scholar shouted loudly.
"Is that even a question? Just from your clothes, anyone can tell you're from the Akademiya."
Shen Fei was rather speechless at the Akademiya people. They were doing evil deeds yet still wearing Akademiya uniforms. Were they that afraid people would not know they were from the Akademiya? Reality was not a game; they had no way to change clothes.
However, Shen Fei also knew why these Akademiya scholars dressed that way: arrogance. The Akademiya had ruled Sumeru for five hundred years, and that had given many of its scholars the habit of arrogance. They all believed themselves to be the smartest, while everyone else was an idiot.
"You know we're from the Akademiya, yet you still dare attack us?"
"It's only the Akademiya. Why wouldn't I dare? You seem to have forgotten your situation. You're our prisoner now. Do you really think we don't dare kill?" As Shen Fei spoke, a longsword appeared in his right hand and rested against the man's
