"Saving a ranger, then heading to Vimara Village first... This couldn't be a Forest Book quest, could it?"
While Shen Fei waited in Bishui Plain for Lumine and Paimon to return, he did not welcome them back. Instead, he received a message from them: on their way back, they had rescued a ranger in poor health and needed to go to Vimara Village first. After asking for the ranger's name, Shen Fei immediately thought of one thing—the Forest Book quest.
"So it really was." Soon afterward, Shen Fei received another message from Paimon. After delivering the ranger to Vimara Village, they had encountered another matter: some children had gone missing, and they were helping search for them. It seemed they would not be able to return today.
"Do your best. I'll wait for you here." Although he was somewhat curious about the Aranara, recalling how troublesome the Forest Book quest was, Shen Fei decided to meet up with Lumine and Paimon after they finished it.
"Miss Lumine and Paimon went to Vimara Village? It's a very quiet little village."
After hearing that Lumine and Paimon had gone to Vimara Village, Collei immediately told Shen Fei about the place. Because of her work, Collei had been there many times, and quite a few rangers came from that village.
Actually, Vimara Village's location was quite good. It sat right along Sumeru's waterways, so logically, it should have been able to develop. Unfortunately, it never had. The reason was also its terrain: the area was simply too small to build facilities such as a port. Unless someone possessed the power to Move Mountains and Fill Seas, it would be difficult to expand Vimara Village.
Of course, there was nothing wrong with remaining an undeveloped little mountain village. It was quite suitable for retirement.
