"There was still time. No need to head back so early—let's chat a little longer." Navia clearly did not want to go back yet.
"How about we camp here? It's a beach, after all." Lumine looked around and nodded. They would have to eat when they returned anyway, so they might as well eat together here. She promptly brought out the motorhome, and the ingredients were naturally ready-made.
The group then got busy. Shen Fei helped as well. Since Ecophe was absent, Shen Fei and Lumine became the chefs. Both were good cooks, and with such abundant ingredients, everyone ate to their hearts' content before settling down to chat.
"Clorinde, still no news from Petronilla?" Navia suddenly asked.
"No." Clorinde shook her head.
"Phones are so widespread now. Why hasn't Lady Petronilla contacted you?" Navia looked rather worried.
That would have been understandable in the old Teyvat, when communication had been extremely inconvenient. But things were different now. Many people already owned phones, and even in places like Natlan, Nodrekai, and Snezhnaya, phone coverage was not low. The only issue was that there were no places there to pay the fees, but that was hardly a major problem.
Shen Fei's fees were very low, with no miscellaneous charges whatsoever. Calls and internet access were all bundled together, and someone else could easily pay on their behalf.
"Perhaps my teacher has her own reasons. There's no need to worry. She's very strong," Clorinde said, signaling for Navia not to worry about her teacher.
"Clorinde's teacher? Then she must be amazing, right?" Paimon immediately asked.
"Of course. Back then, she was Fontaine's Darknight Hero. Countless bad people would tremble all over just hearing her name," Navia said with a smile.
"A Darknight Hero? Another champion of justice? What happened to her afterward?"
