"You jerk!" As the writing on the receipt vanished, Paimon stamped her feet in fury.
"You accuse me of scamming tourists? I say you're making false accusations. Remember, this is the Flowing Spring People's territory. Be smarter next time." Ka'uul turned and walked straight away, an irrepressible smile tugging at his lips. This haul would keep them living comfortably for a while.
"What do we do now? It looks like we messed everything up." Watching Ka'uul leave, Paimon looked dejected.
"Relax. He won't get away. Amina prepared for this. Look, they've stopped him already." Just as Ka'uul was about to leave, Amina personally led a group over to block his path.
"Chief, what brings you here?" Ka'uul immediately grew nervous at the sight of Amina.
"I had people following you in secret all along. Thank you. We finally have enough to convict them of fraud." Amina ignored Ka'uul and thanked Shen Fei and his two companions first.
"Convict me? Chief, they don't have any evidence that I committed a crime. Even you can't convince everyone without evidence, can you?" Ka'uul seemed to have regained his composure.
"I'm really sorry. They pulled one over on us, and the evidence we had is gone," Paimon said sheepishly.
"No problem. Search him first." Amina immediately ordered her people to search Ka'uul, and they soon found a large sum of Mora on him.
"What are you doing? Hands off! That's my money!" Despite Ka'uul's desperate struggles, he could do nothing. They only released him after finding the Mora, which someone then handed to Amina.
"Just as I thought. You certainly split the proceeds quickly." Amina examined the Mora before turning her gaze on Ka'uul.
"What do you mean?" Ka'uul asked, looking confused.
"I supplied all the Mora they used, and I put special marks
