Dumbledore and Grindelwald (Part 2)

"What? Leave this planet?" After hearing Shen Fei's so-called plan, Dumbledore and Grindelwald were completely dumbfounded.

Indeed, this was Shen Fei's plan—simple, but also extremely crude. So even Dumbledore and Grindelwald, two of the top figures in the Wizarding World, were momentarily at a loss for words.

"This is just the final contingency plan. In fact, this era is the best opportunity—and the last one—for the Wizarding World to integrate into the Muggle world," Shen Fei continued, spinning his tale.

It had to be said, under crisis, human potential was limitless. Just as Iron Man built a miniature Arc Reactor and the first Mark armor in a cave, Shen Fei, while doing his utmost to avoid conflict with Dumbledore, had actually come up with quite a few ways to solve the current predicament of the Wizarding World.

Leaving this planet was extremely difficult for the Wizarding World, but for Shen Fei, waiting a few more years to obtain a spaceship wasn't a big deal. At worst, he could provide Dumbledore with one or several when the time came.

"Why do you think that?" Grindelwald asked in a deep voice.

"Because I've seen a glimpse of the future," Shen Fei said calmly. "If we miss this window, there will be a great war between the two sides. And that war will have no victor, because it will destroy this planet."

Destroying the planet was, of course, a lie. Destroying humanity's living environment, however, was the truth.

The Wizarding World did have wizards who could perform prophetic magic. Shen Fei wasn't afraid of being exposed, because he did know some things about the future. Plus, with his strong soul, Dumbledore's Legilimency was useless against him, so others certainly wouldn't stand a chance.

Speaking of which, Grindelwald seemed to be a Seer himself. It was because he had seen the future that he had thrown himself headlong into his actions.

"You should both be aware of the Muggles' ultimate weapons. Once war breaks out, no matter which side loses, the final outcome will be the activation of those ultimate weapons, and everyone will perish together. We must avoid that at all costs."

The saying went, "Barefoot people aren't afraid of those wearing shoes." If you were willing to risk everything, you could even drag an emperor off his throne. There was a reason major powers forbade small nations from possessing nuclear weapons—especially those countries teeming with terrorists. Those people couldn't care less about the interests of all humanity or the survival of the human race.

"Tell me, what is your plan?" Grindelwald didn't ask what future Shen Fei had seen.

"It starts with the current state of the Wizarding World." After pondering for a long while and organizing his thoughts, Shen Fei immediately began speaking.

Fortunately, he had some understanding of the world of Harry Potter; otherwise, he definitely wouldn't have been able to fool these two top-tier wizards.

This world was different from Marvel. The number of mages in Kamar-Taj was very small, so of course they had to stay hidden. Even if they were exposed later, it wouldn't matter—the power systems in the Marvel world were too chaotic, with aliens and gods popping up everywhere. What were a few mages compared to that?

In Harry's world, wizards were so numerous that they had formed their own society. With so many people, complete concealment was impossible.

In fact, in the Muggle world, high-ranking government officials were all aware of the Wizarding World. Even the Auror profession was established to cooperate with Muggle governments. Aurors mainly dealt with wizards who broke the law.

Dark wizards were plentiful in this world. After all, there were only so many schools, and local schools were extremely exclusionary. Many people with magical talent had to rely on self-study.

In this regard, Hogwarts was considered a very open-minded school, even with Strelling House present.

Other schools were even worse than Hogwarts.

Before the change, wizards in America couldn't be friends with No-Majs, let alone marry them. England didn't have that problem.

If Shen Fei hadn't run into Dumbledore right from the start, he probably would have become a Dark Wizard, relying on various magic books to teach himself. Due to age restrictions, he could no longer enroll in school.

Of course, finding a teacher wasn't difficult for Shen Fei. For example, there was someone who should still be a rat right now.

"That's about it. We can advance or retreat. The worst-case scenario is just leaving this planet. At least it won't lead to the extinction of wizards or the destruction of this world." After a long, detailed explanation, Shen Fei finally finished.

Fortunately, in his previous life, he had browsed Harry Potter forums and argued with people about whether magic or technology was stronger—like whether a gun could kill Voldemort. Now, all that knowledge finally came in handy.

If he had said these things to anyone else, it would have been like casting pearls before swine. But these two were exactly the right audience.

"Of course, I don't have the ability to carry out this plan myself."

"What do you think?" After a long silence, Grindelwald turned to Dumbledore and asked. Shen Fei had said a lot, and even with Grindelwald's intellect, he needed some time to think it through.

"This..." Dumbledore hesitated. The plan Shen Fei proposed would require even him to give it serious consideration before execution.

"Are you still hesitating at a time like this? Do you really want to wait until the two sides go to war?"

"I'll contact others to discuss this matter," Dumbledore finally made up his mind. "Since you proposed it, come to Hogwarts and be a teacher."

Dumbledore said this to Shen Fei.

"Ah." Shen Fei was instantly stunned.

"The Muggle Studies teacher. You'll teach them about the Muggle world."

The first step of Shen Fei's plan was to make the current wizards accept education about the Muggle world. Compared to adults whose personalities were already set, students were at the most impressionable age for changing their minds.

"Good, I agree." Grindelwald nodded.

"Alright." With the two of them in agreement, Shen Fei, who was currently alone and without support, had no choice but to accept. Besides, Dumbledore was right—if they wanted to teach wizards in this world about the Muggle world, no one else was really suited for the job.

Muggle Studies existed as a department and subject in both the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. But since the vast majority of wizards—including Muggle-born wizards themselves—didn't care about it, it was essentially just for show.

"Speaking of which, this position is likely to attract Voldemort's attention. I don't know what time period this is, but it doesn't matter. If Voldemort really comes looking for me, it'll be his bad luck."

If it were Dumbledore, Shen Fei would avoid taking action as long as the problem could be solved peacefully. But if it were Voldemort, he wouldn't hesitate to throw a missile first. Even if it couldn't kill Voldemort, escaping himself wouldn't be a problem.

"Hogwarts, huh. It's not as a student, but that's fine." As Dumbledore and Grindelwald left together, apparently to discuss something, Shen Fei grew excited. Coming to Harry's world and not visiting Hogwarts would be a complete waste.

A waterfront pavilion gets the moonlight first. At Hogwarts, his chances of learning magic were far better than being a rogue wizard or a Dark Wizard—especially in areas like Herbology and Potions. In this world, no place surpassed Hogwarts in those fields.

As for what Dumbledore and Grindelwald were discussing, Shen Fei could roughly guess. It was probably about whether he could be trusted. These two were top figures in the Wizarding World; of course, they wouldn't simply believe Shen Fei. But because what Shen Fei said was what they wanted to do, this was the outcome they had reached.
