Dumbledore and Grindelwald (Part 2)

"What? Leave this planet?" After hearing Shen Fei's so-called plan, Dumbledore and Grindelwald were completely dumbfounded.

That was indeed Shen Fei's plan. It was simple, but also extremely crude. Even Dumbledore and Grindelwald, two of the Wizarding World's foremost figures, did not know what to say for a moment.

"This is only the final plan. In fact, this era is the best—and last—opportunity for the Wizarding World to integrate into the ordinary world," Shen Fei continued to persuade them.

It had to be said that under pressure, human potential was limitless. Just as Iron Man had built a miniature Arc Reactor and the first-generation Mark armor in a cave, Shen Fei, while doing everything he could to avoid a conflict with Dumbledore, had truly come up with quite a few ways to resolve the Wizarding World's current predicament.

Leaving this planet would be difficult for the Wizarding World, but for Shen Fei, obtaining a spaceship in a few years would not be particularly hard. At worst, he could provide Dumbledore with one or several then.

"Why do you think that?" Grindelwald asked in a low voice.

"Because I saw a glimpse of the future," Shen Fei said calmly. "If we miss this opportunity, there will be a great war between the two sides. And there will be no winner in that war, because it will destroy this planet."

Destroying the planet was, of course, a lie. Destroying humanity's living environment, however, was very real.

There were wizards in the Wizarding World who could make prophecies. Shen Fei was not afraid of being exposed, because he really did know some things about the future. Combined with the strength of his soul, even Dumbledore's Legilimency was useless against him. Others would certainly fare no better.

Come to think of it, Grindelwald seemed to be a seer himself. It was because he had seen the future that he had begun his actions without hesitation.

"You should know something about ordinary people's ultimate weapons. Once war begins, no matter which side loses, the final outcome will be the activation of those ultimate weapons, with everyone perishing together. We must prevent all of this."

As the saying went, the barefoot feared no one wearing shoes; if someone was willing to risk everything, they would dare drag even an emperor from his throne. There was a reason major powers prohibited smaller nations from possessing nuclear weapons, especially countries that produced terrorists. Those people would not care about the interests of all humanity or humanity's living environment.

"Tell us what your plan is." Grindelwald did not ask what future Shen Fei had seen.

"That requires starting with the Wizarding World's current situation." After pondering for quite some time and organizing his thoughts, Shen Fei immediately began to explain.

Fortunately, he knew something about the Harry Potter Universe. Otherwise, he definitely would not have been able to convince these two foremost figures of the Wizarding World.

This world differed from Marvel. Kamar-Taj had very few sorcerers, so naturally they could remain hidden. And even if they were exposed later, it did not matter much. The Marvel Universe's power system was too chaotic; aliens and Gods had all appeared already, so what did a few sorcerers matter?

In Harry's world, there were too many wizards, and they had formed their own social structure. With so many people, it was impossible for all of them to remain hidden.

In fact, the upper echelons of ordinary governments knew about the Wizarding World. Even the profession of Auror had been established to coordinate with ordinary governments. Aurors primarily dealt with criminal wizards.

There were quite a few dark wizards in this world. There were only so many schools, after all, and schools in different regions were highly exclusionary. Many people with magical talent could only teach themselves.

In that regard, Hogwarts could be considered a very open-minded school, even with Strelling within it.

Other schools were even worse than Hogwarts.

Even America, which called itself the land of freedom, had only improved slightly in recent years—and only slightly. One could tell from what they called ordinary people. Their discrimination against ordinary people was even worse than England's: No-Maj.

Before those changes, wizards in America could not befriend or marry No-Majs. England did not have such restrictions.

If Shen Fei had not encountered Dumbledore from the beginning, he would probably have become a dark wizard later, teaching himself through various magical books. Because of the age limit, enrolling in school was already impossible for him.

Of course, for Shen Fei, finding a teacher was not difficult. For example, a certain person who should still have been a rat right now.

"That is roughly the situation. We can advance if possible and retreat if necessary. In the worst-case scenario, we simply leave this planet. At least the wizards will not be wiped out, and this planet will not be destroyed." After speaking at length, Shen Fei finally finished.

Fortunately, he had browsed Harry Potter Universe forums in his previous life and argued with people over whether magic or technology was stronger. For example, whether a gun could kill Voldemort. Those things had finally come in handy.

If he had said this to anyone else, it would have been like playing music to a cow. But these two were exactly the right audience.

"Of course, I do not have the ability to carry out this plan."

"What do you think?" After a long silence, Grindelwald turned to ask Dumbledore. Shen Fei had said a great deal, and even someone as intelligent as Grindelwald needed time to process it.

"This..." Dumbledore hesitated. Even he had to give serious consideration to carrying out Shen Fei's plan.

"You are still hesitating at a time like this? Are you really waiting for another war between both sides?"

"I will contact the others and discuss this matter." But in the end, Dumbledore still made up his mind. "Since you proposed it, come to Hogwarts and become a teacher."

Dumbledore said this to Shen Fei.

"Huh?" Shen Fei was instantly stunned.

"You will teach Muggle Studies Class, teaching them knowledge about Muggles."

The first step of Shen Fei's plan was to educate current wizards about the Muggle world. Compared to adults whose personalities had already solidified, students were at the stage where their views were easiest to change.

"Agreed." Grindelwald nodded.

"Fine." With both of them agreeing, Shen Fei, who was currently alone and without support, could only agree as well. Besides, Dumbledore was right. If someone was going to teach wizards in this world about the Muggle world, others truly would not be suited for the job.

Muggle Studies, the Ministry of Magic, and even Hogwarts all had related departments and teachers. But because the overwhelming majority of wizards, including Muggle-born wizards themselves, did not care, it was completely ornamental.

Come to think of it, this position is likely to attract Voldemort's attention. I wonder what time period this is. But it does not matter. If Voldemort really comes looking for me, he will be the unlucky one.

Being close to the source gave one the first advantage. At Hogwarts, his chances of learning magic were far better than becoming an independent wizard or a dark wizard, especially regarding knowledge of herbs and potions. No place in this world surpassed Hogwarts in those two areas.

As for what Dumbledore and Grindelwald were discussing, Shen Fei could roughly guess. It was nothing more than whether he could be trusted. These two were foremost figures in the Wizarding World, so naturally they could not simply believe Shen Fei. It was only because what Shen Fei had said was what they wanted to do that things had ended this way.
