"Chito, it's meat. Meat!" Yuri was incredibly excited as she watched the steaming hot pot, grabbing Chito by the arms and shouting happily.

"I know it's meat." Chito looked very calm, but judging by the way her eyes remained fixed on the hot pot before her, she was clearly far from calm inside.

"There's fish too, drinks, green vegetables... Is this Heaven?" Yuri paid no attention to Chito's reaction and continued staring excitedly at the various side dishes surrounding the hot pot.

They were still at the top of that towering structure. After saving Chito and Yuri, Shen Fei had set up a hot pot directly in the snow. Eating hot pot amid the snow at the highest point in this world had its own unique charm.

It was no wonder Yuri was so excited. Since birth, she and Chito had practically never eaten food from the natural world. Forget green vegetables—even green plants had long since vanished from this world. Along the way, they had mostly eaten all kinds of compressed rations, usually taken from military bases.

The best meal they had ever had was probably that dead fish they had found. Ever since then, Yuri had been unable to stop thinking about fish. She had nearly eaten another one—arguably the last fish left in this world. Now that she saw so much fish meat, she was naturally beside herself with excitement.

If Shen Fei and Chito had not been watching her, Yuri might have swallowed all the ingredients Shen Fei had brought out raw and drunk every last drop of the beverages.

Watching Yuri continuously swallow her saliva, Shen Fei could not help smiling. The gloom that had weighed on him because of this world immediately eased when he saw that the two of them were still alive.
