Shen Fei only glanced at Kaneki before shifting his attention to Touka. He was not that blond guy at the next table quietly watching Kaneki. Even if he had no particular thoughts about Touka, simply looking at a beautiful woman was a pleasure. After all, beauty was a feast for the eyes.

Come to think of it, that blond guy had done a great deal for Kaneki behind the scenes. Yet later on, Kaneki and Touka flew off together, tossing their good buddy aside. That blond guy was naturally Kaneki's friend, Hideyoshi Nagachika—the future Scarecrow.

For three consecutive days, Shen Fei visited Anteiku Cafe every afternoon. When it came to coffee, Anteiku was truly professional, with a modest reputation throughout the 20th Ward. Combined with its elegant atmosphere, it was one of the best dating spots for couples.

It was also a place where men and women met. Ken Kaneki and Rize Kamishiro had first met in a cafe. Of course, in an ordinary world, it would have been a lovely encounter. But given this world's special circumstances, a lovely encounter could sometimes turn directly into a horror movie.
