"What happened?"
Seated aboard Schicksal's transport ship, Shen Fei watched Rita lower her communicator, a frown on her face, and quietly asked. Though he had already more or less guessed what had happened.
According to their plan, Anti-Entropy would only launch its attack when the Schicksal transport ship carrying him was about to reach Schicksal Headquarters. That way, neither Rita nor Durandal would have time to provide support. Unless necessary, Anti-Entropy would not proactively start a war with Schicksal.
"Just a minor matter." Rita gave Shen Fei a meaningful glance as she spoke. She was not surprised that someone from Anti-Entropy wanted to attack the Atlantic Branch, but timing it so perfectly—and without a single Valkyrie casualty—was completely unlike Cocolia's handiwork.
Other than Cocolia, Welt Yang and Einstein generally would not take the initiative to provoke Schicksal.
"Nine floating islands, Nine Realms. Otto really did have some grand ideas."
As the transport ship approached the port at Schicksal Headquarters, Shen Fei finally got a full view of the place. The nine floating islands were divided according to their respective functions: Honkai energy system laboratories, industrial R&D centers, Valkyrie armor production centers, training centers, robot production bases, Valkyrie dormitories, commercial districts, and more.
Although Schicksal mainly relied on Valkyries, that did not mean it lacked mechs. On the contrary, some of Schicksal's mechs were even more powerful than Anti-Entropy's. The only difference was that Schicksal treated mechs as guards rather than its main force against Honkai.
Anti-Entropy had suffered from financial shortages for years, and mech losses were the primary reason. This was mainly because of Honkai's nature. Honkai energy corroded not only humans, but machines as well. Yet mech power sources were powered by Honkai energy, so isolation measures were necessary.
If Anti-Entropy had an organization as powerful as Schicksal,
