Stark investigated the Extremis explosions while Shen Fei tracked Killian and infiltrated his laboratory to obtain the virus and inhibitor. Shen Fei’s attempt to capture the infected scientists failed, leaving him fighting Killian’s guards without using Philosopher’s Stone Transmutation Circles.

• Maya Hansen told Stark that Killian had used her Extremis Virus research, and Stark sent Jarvis to investigate the explosions while he went to Tennessee.
• Shen Fei used Red Queen to trace Killian to A.I.M. and Miami, then left Stark’s villa to investigate on his own.
• Stark’s armor was destroyed by an Extremis assassin in Tennessee, and he met Harry, who helped him uncover Killian’s exploitation of disabled veterans.

• Thor called Shen Fei to complain about Jane, and Shen Fei reflected on Thor’s money troubles, their relationship, and his new obsession with games.
• Ada arrived exhausted and told Shen Fei that a genetically modified fake Ada had tried to kill her and become the real Ada, while Derek Simmons and a Simmons Family island base were destroyed.

• Shen Fei killed the Father Demon, captured Rui by swapping him into a transmutation circle, and eliminated the Human-Faced Spider Demon.

At the Butterfly Mansion, Shen Fei and Kagaya Ubuyashiki learned what had happened, and Kagaya resolved to eliminate Muzan now that the Corps had found his trail.

• Akaza tried to persuade Kyojuro Rengoku to become a demon, but Kyojuro refused and unleashed Flame Breathing Secret Art, Ninth Form: Rengoku, nearly severing Akaza's head.
• Akaza recovered from his injuries and attacked the Demon Slayer Corps members; Kyojuro protected them and ordered them to retreat.
• Giyu Tomioka arrived, used Water Breathing, Eleventh Form to cut off Akaza's head, and stayed behind when Akaza's body continued fighting.

• Kaigaku failed to harm Kokushibo, begged for his life, and drank Kokushibo’s blood, transforming into a demon.
• Kaigaku killed the Demon Slayer Corps members who arrived to help him, while Kokushibo destroyed three of their Kasugai Crows and questioned Kaigaku about the Corps headquarters.
• Kokushibo brought Kaigaku to the Infinity Castle, where Muzan learned the headquarters’ location and dispatched Kokushibo, Doma, and Akaza toward it.
