  • Feitan attacked Shen Fei after Machi was captured, but Shen Fei broke Feitan’s arm and took Machi and Owl back to Yorknew City.
  • Franklin caught the injured Feitan, and he and Shizuku decided to return and find the Boss, forgetting that Nobunaga had also been taken.
  • Shen Fei forced Owl to demonstrate Incredible Convenient Big Scarf and analyzed the Conjuration ability before Machi attacked him with her Nen threads.
  • Nobunaga escaped from Owl’s scarf inside a black car, but Shen Fei stopped his iaijutsu slash, broke his sword, and severed his right arm.
  • Machi stitched Nobunaga’s arm back on, and Shen Fei bound both of them with chains after claiming he intended to destroy the Phantom Troupe.
  • Shen Fei dragged Machi deeper into the abandoned building and gave Nobunaga one minute to reveal the other members’ names and Nen abilities.

Ch. 244The Phantom Troupe's End (Part 2)

Shen Fei killed Nobunaga and spared Machi, then returned to Yorknew City as the Phantom Troupe investigated their disappearance. After learning that Nobunaga’s corpse and the recovered treasures would be auctioned, Chrollo prepared the Troupe to attack and hired Illumi.

  • Shen Fei offered Nobunaga and Machi a choice, but Nobunaga insisted Shen Fei kill him, so Shen Fei pierced his heart and promised to spare Machi before knocking her unconscious.
  • Shen Fei returned to the hotel and wondered whether Kurapika had killed Uvogin, while Uvogin had already been rescued by the Phantom Troupe and brought back to their base.
  • Chrollo ordered Shalnark and Pakunoda to investigate Nobunaga and Machi’s capture, sending Uvogin and Phinks with them.
  • Shen Fei saw news footage of Shalnark and Uvogin killing thirteen people in a convenience store and learned that Owl had returned with the treasures and Nobunaga’s corpse.
  • The Ten Dons raised the bounty on each Phantom Troupe member to two billion and reopened the auction, planning to sell Nobunaga’s corpse.
  • Chrollo prepared the Troupe to attack the auction and called Illumi, who agreed to their arrangement.

Ch. 245The Troupe's Doom (End)

  • Shen Fei found Kortopi’s corpse and captured Shalnark, while Phinks and Feitan arrived and Feitan ran to warn Chrollo.
  • Shen Fei stopped Feitan, broke his arm, and took his sword as Kurapika fought Phinks.
  • Feitan recovered and formed a high-temperature fireball, but Shen Fei beheaded him before it reached full power.
  • Shen Fei escaped the explosion and used his Op-Op Fruit to move Kurapika and Shalnark out of danger, leaving Phinks to Kurapika.
  • Shen Fei knocked Shalnark unconscious, stored him in a box, and used En to locate the living people on the hotel’s twentieth floor.
  • Shen Fei found Silva and Zeno facing Chrollo and the remaining Phantom Troupe members, who were waiting for him.

Ch. 247Greed Island (Part 2)

  • Bonolenov attacked with Jupiter, but Shen Fei split him in half with a sword aura.
  • Chrollo attacked Shen Fei with the Honzhi blade, but Shen Fei evaded him, broke his arm, punched him in the abdomen, and bound him with chains.

Ch. 248Greed Island (Part 2)

Shen Fei captured Chrollo and Pakunoda after killing Shizuku, then helped Kurapika recover his Scarlet Eyes and remove the Restriction and Covenant bound around his heart. Kurapika left with his Nen restriction gone, while Shen Fei turned his attention to Greed Island and the abilities its cards might offer.

  • Shen Fei persuaded Kurapika to reconsider his dangerous Restriction and Covenant by speaking about Pairo and his clansmen, then offered to remove it as a Nen exorcist.
  • Shen Fei used the Op-Op Fruit to expose Kurapika's heart and erase the Nen chain and dagger bound around it, then restored and revived Kurapika.
  • Kurapika thanked Shen Fei and offered to help him in return, while Shen Fei considered entering Greed Island to learn abilities from its restricted cards.

Ch. 249Greed Island (End)

  • Milluki won the first Greed Island game console at the auction for fifteen billion, while Shen Fei, Gon, and Killua attended.
  • Biscuit met Gon and Killua at Shen Fei’s hotel and joined them in entering Greed Island; Shen Fei stored his consoles in Saba City and studied Chrollo’s and Pakunoda’s Nen abilities.
  • Shen Fei concluded that his analysis ability could not learn Specialization abilities that altered their users’ constitutions, and he returned to Yorknew City.
  • Shen Fei released Machi and gave her Chrollo’s and Pakunoda’s corpses, warning her not to keep killing innocents; Machi later attacked gangs to recover the Troupe members’ bodies.
  • Shen Fei finished learning Owl’s Incredible Convenient Big Scarf and entered Greed Island using a ring inscribed with divine script.

Ch. 250God Script and Nen (Part 1)

Shen Fei entered Greed Island, met Biscuit, and began investigating how its card system worked through Nen and divine script. He resolved to pursue the rare designated cards, especially Angel's Breath, after learning that the most valuable potions had already been claimed.

  • Shen Fei entered Greed Island and reflected on how its game consoles could transport players across the Six Continents, while considering the dangers posed by V5 and Poor Man's Rose.
  • Shen Fei met Elena, logged in, and discovered that Greed Island's book stored cards players could use for support or combat.
  • Shen Fei met Biscuit in Bounty City Antokiba and learned that Gon and Killua had left to complete quests and gather cards and information about Ging.
  • Shen Fei repeatedly turned ordinary objects into cards and materialized them again, using the experiments to conclude that Greed Island's card system relied on Nen commands.
  • Shen Fei checked the designated-card listings, learned that all ten Witch's Rejuvenation Potions were already claimed, and decided to seek Angel's Breath and other rare cards.

Ch. 251God-Characters and Nen (Part 2)

Shen Fei joined Nikens's team as it prepared to secure the rare Angel's Breath, while suspecting that the newly introduced Gonsu might be Bomber. He discovered Greed Island's geothermal God-Character system and studied it as the game’s creators watched, leaving with plans to adapt the technology for his own worlds.

  • After Shen Fei defeated four would-be robbers, their bodies and God-Character Rings vanished, and he reflected on how Greed Island encouraged theft and card monopolies.
  • Puhart invited Shen Fei to join his team, and Shen Fei accepted after learning they were pursuing Angel's Breath; Nikens told the gathered players they needed a Prison card to protect it.
  • Puhart introduced Shen Fei to Gonsu, whose attempt to touch Shen Fei and suspicious expression made Shen Fei wonder if he was Bomber, though Shen Fei kept his suspicions to himself.
  • Shen Fei found the God-Characters beneath Bounty City Antokiba and photographed and studied them while Leet and three other Greed Island creators monitored him.
  • Leet's group consulted Ging, who told them to let Shen Fei continue unless he disrupted the game; afterward, Shen Fei considered using God-Characters to strengthen restraints and armor and bringing Ada and Robin to study them.

Ch. 252Divine Script and Nen (Part 2)

Shen Fei discarded the cursed Honzhi blade, funded aid for victims of the Phantom Troupe, and studied Greed Island’s movement cards while avoiding the organization’s missions. When Bomber Gonsu seized Nikens’s group and their cards, Shen Fei stayed hidden nearby as Gonsu’s betrayal killed everyone present.

  • Shen Fei snapped the Honzhi blade in half and threw it into the magma because he did not want to keep its distinctive, resentment-bearing weapon.
  • Shen Fei used the Nowell Foundation to help innocent people harmed by the Phantom Troupe and studied Greed Island’s movement spell cards in Magic City Masadora.
  • Nikens announced that his group had obtained a Prison card and exchanged it for Angel’s Breath, but Gonsu revealed himself as the Bomber and activated Voice of Life on them.
  • Nikens surrendered the group’s cards under Gonsu’s threat, and Gonsu’s companions helped him seize the cards from everyone’s books.
  • Gonsu and his companions said the words to remove Voice of Life, causing it to explode and kill everyone present; Shen Fei, who had been hiding nearby, watched and prepared to act.

Ch. 253Examiner (Part One)

  • Shen Fei bound Bomber Gonsu and his two companions with concealed Nen threads and demanded their cards.
  • Shen Fei threatened the Bomber trio until Gonsu surrendered their cards in exchange for a chance to use Angel's Breath to heal his companions.
  • Shen Fei copied Angel's Breath and healed both injured men, including restoring a severed palm, then collected additional Copy cards from the trio.
  • Shen Fei loosened the trio's restraints before suddenly tightening the Nen threads and killing all three.
  • Shen Fei used a Leave card to return to the Great Prairie, then tested whether he could use Greed Island's card materialization ability outside the game.
  • Shen Fei successfully materialized a stone using his Nen and decided to prioritize reproducing Angel's Breath.

Ch. 254Examiner (Part 2)

Shen Fei studied Greed Island’s Nen-made cards and accepted Netero’s invitation to examine the Hunter Exam, hoping to gain access to the Association’s intelligence on divine script. After returning to Greed Island, he traded with Zezu for one of the cards he needed, leaving only Gon’s card and a pirate quest before he could clear the game.

  • Elena and the other game creators watched Shen Fei test Angel’s Breath on a Unicorn Wolf and discussed his frequent trips out of Greed Island.
  • Shen Fei analyzed Angel’s Breath and used the Op-Op Fruit to study and replicate the witch series’ Nen-made potions.
  • Shen Fei received Netero’s invitation to serve as an examiner and accepted, aiming to join the Hunter Association for its intelligence resources.
  • Shen Fei led the Hunter Exam’s second stage at Numere Wetlands, where thirty-eight applicants, including Pokkle, Ponz, and Tonpa, passed.
  • Shen Fei returned to Greed Island, resumed researching Witch’s Rejuvenation Potion, and agreed with Zezu to exchange Angel’s Breath for One-Ping Jungle.
  • Shen Fei completed the card exchange with Zezu and noted that he still needed the card Gon possessed and the card from a pirate quest.

Ch. 255Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva (Part 1)

Shen Fei forced Alvis to hand over a rare card, then pursued One Ping of Coastline by assembling a team to challenge Razor and the Fourteen Devils. After his group cleared the first seven stages, the final dodgeball match began with Shen Fei preparing to face Razor and his fourteen clones.

  • Shen Fei bound Alvis with Nen threads, took Card No. 75, the lucky Alexander Gem, and killed him after Alvis tried to extort him.
  • Shen Fei traveled to Sufrabi to pursue One Ping of Coastline, but learned that the challenge required fifteen players and eight stages, including seven separate one-on-one matches.
  • Shen Fei recruited Gon, Killua, Biscuit, Zezu, and other players, then returned to Razor’s dojo to attempt the challenge as a team.
  • Shen Fei’s group won the first seven stages, with Gon, Killua, Biscuit, and Zezu among those who defeated their opponents.
  • Razor entered the final dodgeball match, created fourteen clones, and raised the ball as Shen Fei stepped onto the field.

Ch. 256Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva (Part 2)

Shen Fei defeated Razor in Greed Island’s dodgeball match, won the final card through a quiz, and cleared the game. After choosing three cards to take outside, he traveled to the Hunter Association with Netero and discovered its extensive underground research facility.

  • Shen Fei caught Razor’s powerful throw and returned it, breaking through Razor’s Fourteen Devils and pushing Razor out of bounds to win the match.
  • Razor approached Gon and mentioned Ging, but a game-wide quiz for Card No. 0, Ruler’s Blessing, interrupted them.
  • Shen Fei ranked first in the quiz, obtained Ruler’s Blessing, and became the first player to clear Greed Island.
  • Shen Fei chose Witch’s Rejuvenation Potion, Harvest Tree, and Beautifying Hot Springs as his three clearance cards, then left the game and redeemed them.
  • Shen Fei traveled to the Hunter Association, where Netero greeted him and led him downstairs; Shen Fei noticed Pariston watching him in the lobby and saw the association’s underground research facility.

Ch. 257Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva (End)

Shen Fei fought Netero to see the Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva, then joined the Hunter Association and studied the ability with Netero’s help. He developed his own version and summoned Pokkle and Ponz to complete the final part of the Hunter Exam.

  • Shen Fei and Netero sparred in the Association’s underground facility until Netero summoned the Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva.
  • Morel, Cheadle, and Pariston entered, interrupting the fight, and Netero later agreed to let Shen Fei study his ability.
  • Netero invited Shen Fei to become a Zodiac, but Shen Fei joined the Association so he could review its divine script records.
  • With Netero’s cooperation, Shen Fei shaped the Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva around his body for offense and defense.
  • Shen Fei called Pokkle and Ponz to the Hunter Association for the final part of the Hunter Exam.

Ch. 258Meruem (Part 1)

  • Shen Fei explained Nen to Pokkle and Ponz, then trained them after the Hunter Association judged them suitable to learn it.
  • Shen Fei acquired rare divine characters and bought a copy of New World Chronicle, which described the Dark Continent and its Five Great Hopes.
  • Shen Fei decided he wanted to visit the Dark Continent, though he worried about its dangers and lacked information about reaching it.
  • Pokkle and Ponz completed their Four Major Principles training, and Water Divination revealed Pokkle’s type was Emission and Ponz’s was Manipulation.
  • Shen Fei demonstrated his newly formed Thousand-Hand Guanyin, then reviewed information about NGL and considered eliminating the Chimera Ants before they became a disaster.

Ch. 259Meruem (Part 2)

Shen Fei searched NGL for the Chimera Ants, learned that Gyoro’s regime was exploiting the country to produce D Drug, and discovered the ants had appeared in East Gorteau instead. He attacked Gyoro’s stronghold to bring down NGL’s rulers and expose their crimes, leaving the confrontation with Gyoro underway.

  • Shen Fei surveyed NGL, found no Chimera Ants, and stayed to train while observing the country’s people and rulers.
  • Shen Fei learned that Gyoro had seized power and used NGL’s isolation to manufacture and distribute D Drug.
  • Shen Fei contacted Killua and learned that the Chimera Ants were already in East Gorteau, where the group needed expert help.
  • Shen Fei decided to change NGL’s fate himself and attacked Gyoro’s drug factory with sleeping gas and physical clones.
  • Shen Fei reached Gyoro, who refused to flee, and prepared to expose the regime’s crimes to V5.

Ch. 260Meruem (Part 2)

Shen Fei arrived in East Gorteau, where Kite had been badly injured fighting the Chimera Ants and Netero’s team was battling the growing threat. After helping clear the battlefield and studying the ants, Shen Fei learned the Ant King was expected to be born in about a month.
