Shen Fei and Netero responded to the Ant King’s premature birth as the Chimera Ants scattered, and the Queen died from her injuries. As Netero prepared to face Meruem, Shen Fei and the other Hunters stayed in East Gorteau Republic while the Association hunted down the fleeing ants.

• Netero sensed the Ant King’s sinister aura, and he, Shen Fei, and Morel entered the Chimera Ant base as the Squadron Leaders fled with their followers.
• Shen Fei and Morel found the Queen gravely wounded, and Netero ordered a medical team to treat her while assigning Shen Fei to pursue the scattered ants.
• Shen Fei caught and captured six Chimera Ants, then returned to learn that the Queen had died despite the medical team’s efforts.
• Cheadle told Shen Fei that Pariston had blocked reinforcements, leaving Netero under pressure from V5 and at risk of taking the blame for the disaster.
