Shen Fei confronted Shi Feixuan and Hou Xibai, rejecting their challenge to his rule and arguing that the Buddhist factions had harmed the realm more than the Demon Sect. He revealed that Cihang Monastery shared its martial arts origins with the Demon Sect, leaving Shi Feixuan shaken by the claim that her sect’s sword canon had been altered and could no longer lead to the Grandmaster realm.
